He is looking for a new home after having a run in with Grant Riley the footy director at North. If he doesn't play state league he is looking at Dosa in some coaching capacity but is unsure yet. Nothing confirmed but if he played old scholars it would likely he would follow his brother to DOSA.

Michael Fisher (Older) brother of Jeff, will sign with dosa in next couple of days but has verbally agreed to be at the club in 2012! Massive coup for DOSA! Big dollars i'm told.

Mike fisher locked in at DOSA as assistant, J Veitch is going overseas next year so thats a no deal..

What like you at Dodges? You're clearly one of the muppets playing reserves down there if you're lucky given you posted on here the other day that such and such was expected to get the Dodges reserves job! like who cares?

Richy Rich, there's no maybe about it, even Channel people will admit they are shelling out some massive dollars, and I stand by my comment about the Claremont muppets the other year, barely any of them could get a sniff and were on ridiculous money. You say Channel have turned it around by throwing around a few dollars? They won 3 games. Hardly turning it around.

Old Lion, you're right, Darcy and Joyce are good forwards but Channels main problem amongst others is stopping them at the other end. The two I mentioned aren't gonna be around for much longer, both at the end of good careers.

And who the hell is Jeff Fisher?

the way i read a previous post Jeff Fisher is Micheal Fishers brother & he plays with dosa. maybe why his brother has gone there.

I might be wrong, but it does not matter what your opposition kicks as long as you can kick a couple more .As for JOYCE, and DARCY both would have a few seasons in them barring injuries, so Channel only need to get a couple of good players to make them very competitive. The good thing about the old scholars is the eveness of the competition. If everything goes okay any team can win on any day.

I have actually played senior football for Dodges Ferry and there are a few posters on here who would be able to back me up on that as they know me off BigFooty. You, on the other hand, have said you don't play for OHA yet you've talked them up like you're a club legend. You have called people muppets when I doubt you have/will achieve what they have.

Why don't you tell us who you are if you're going to shit all over blokes that are actually playing the game? put your name to it mate. I have played footy before, so I'm not a keyboard warrior on here talking down to everyone. just a bloke with an opinion. You come across as a 'muppet' ;):D you didn't answer the question: do you actually play footy or do you just like sucking up certain peoples arses?
 
Only saying who is Jeff Fisher because I have not heard of him, it was written by the initial poster like he was a big name, nothing against him from me.

Old Lion, you're a genius, you do have to kick more than the other team, isn't that what I said? Case in point, Joyce kicked something silly like 11 out of 14 in one game the last few seasons only for the other team to kick 20 odd! Gotta be able to stop them too. Don't get me wrong, the big 2 down there both have some decent footy left in them, but Joyce would be getting close to 30 and Darcy must be close to 33, I don't think I'm being unreasonable in saying they're getting very close to the end.

JS#35, as you like to say I have people on here who can back me up too that I have played on some of the better players in recent years of local footy. But you're not getting my identity that easy. I don't care who you are. As for the muppets comment, I stand by it, the players who Channel got from Claremont, all except Clark and Mason left Channel mid season and returned to Claremont and some played reserves at Claremont when they weren't much in the seniors that year, so you tell me if they were any good or not?

I dont think age is a problem your boys would have at least ten in the thirty plus age group some in late thirties and they seem to be going O.K.

They had some good muppets running around in their reserves this year by the way. Diala Wiggins (has kicked over 60 in a season at senior level before), Fabian Churchill (played senior footy at Brighton, Glenorchy & DF) + Shannon Griffith and at times Jayde Young and Sam Miller.

I don't care who you are either but it's easy belting blokes from behind a keyboard. don't see what what you're getting out of it mate.
must have misread your initial post. I thought you'd said Channel had thrown 'mega money' @ muppets. I was thinking you were having a dig at Pud and Joycey. Were the blokes that left on mega money? :eek:
 
Yeah that Dodges reserves team went well when it counted didn't they, got beaten by a New Norfolk side that wouldn't get within a bulls roar of their reserves premiership side of two years earlier. You guys even got taken to town by old Dean king who is about 114!

Diala is a shocking kick, I have been at Dodges games where the supporters give him curry for it. As for Churchill, nothing against him, but playing seniors at Brighton when he did isn't much of an achievement, my Mother could have played seniors out there at the time. Brighton were sh!tful, something even you will agree with!

Old Lion, Dan Ryan is in his late 30's can you tell me any others? Bannister would be next oldest at 35 which I would have thought is mid thirties. Both still up to it as you would have saw this year too! My point being Channel shouldn't put all their eggs in the Darcy and Joyce baskets. Joyce would probably eat them!

I'm not saying the twos side were world beaters, they weren't. however, they did have some blokes who can play the game. I agree, Diala is a shit kick but he was a quality half forward flanker under Moose Lewis. That was a while ago now but he did have a few really good years as a forward. and i wasn't aware Dodges had supporters :eek: just people who act like they're important and bag the shit out of people behind their backs. actually thats harsh, the crowd are good...we have just always had a few dickheads around!
and yes I agree re Brighton :D Churchill did play some seniors at Glenorchy though.

I would think Bowering,Bateman, McCallum, Whitelaw, Bannister,Ryan,Watkins, Archer, Zac,Rogers, would all not have much change out of Thirty.Of the grand final team.

all very quiet at the moment re; dosa recruiting. have you found out any more info on the other north player denny who might be heading to the roosters?
 
"officially" only meant to pay Senior Coach, Reserves Coach and Assistant Coaches x2. Has been disregarded on the whole for years. One wonders how closely if at all it is examined.

It's funny the sh!t you hear off-season. My mail was that it hinged on Jobby o'brien getting the coaching job (supposed mate of Speedy) and that is the reason why Jobby did get the gig (bring player X/Y with him, including Speedy).
I think Roclet Callinan would need to bring more then Speedy to get a senior coaching Gig. Wingnut might get him over the line somewhere.

what game was you watching?? thug king
, they had j.dykes(who killed dodges) play that game then played in their 1's g.f , not bad for a player who played 3/4 year with hobart and i think it was 5 games with norfolk. norfolk had 4 goals in last quarter from 50m penalties so it was poor discipline that lost the sharks the game.
