Any ideas on who glenorchy players are??
 
The clarence player mentioned at DOSA was Trent Whitelaw.

Jock will endeavour to play this year and he is now 39.

And i believe the club chasing a forward would be North Hobart.

Add to this Rogers, Allen, Lunn, Harris, Lennox, Greene and possibly a couple of others..

Really hope the powers that be are using the cash that is freed up to sign some players. All those names are big losses.

When you say Harris you mean Simon is it? wouldn't think he would be a lose considering he played mostly 2's all year - also i doubt Greenie would be that great a loss.

I really think the coaching appointment at Dosa is a backward step with the statewide league up and running would have been a great chance for the club to sign a proven performer from the SFL.

Harry is a pretty big loss imo.

Greenie, on his own probably not huge, but combined with others, losing him certainly hurts.

Harris loss may affect your 2's thats all I would have though. A few years back would have been a big loss not these days though IMO

Anyone can have 'Rat' Gilmore, unreliable, full of shit and has been overated before , after and now, before his drafting to Richmond I meant, if someone can get a full season of committment from him -good luck !

Ive heard the opposite moogrot, which is that DOSA haven't picked up anyone with the exception of Luke Browning to cover the big losses of Allen, Rogers, Lunn, Penwright and Delaney.

If Dosa dosen't do some serious recruiting soon, I can't see the Roosters making the finals next year.

they will struggle big time next year
plus sighn no bodys,as usual,they will need to make up atleat 200 goals to make up for rogers allen,plus my sources say honey is only playing 2's next year

But why are so many leaving must be a reason?? I can understand a few hanging up the boots but seems some are not happy, or would I be way off the mark?

they tell me mat honey might be coaching central hawkes next season,offer of about 15k,playing coach.very interesting.

Allen - Assistant coaching job at Sorell. Apparently dissapointed he didnt get the nod at DOSA

Rogers - Work commitments. He could still pull them on, he as hinted at doing so.

Honey - Havent heard any word of him leaving. As a previous poster said, will be at DOSA until his legs drop off. Will most likely stay I would imagine.

Delaney - Not sure. Possibly back to Brighton/North Hobart.

Beattie - Playing.

Lunn - Back to North Hobart.

Greene - Retired.

Lennox - Retired.
