You truly are clueless :thumbsu:

In regards to what? Mate im sure Adam is getting some good match payments down there aswell... but im not sure that he should be worrying about what his teamates are getting paid too. Never a good thing at a footy club when players start asking the question about team mates match payments. Tough times at Richmond by the sounds of things... Nothing worse than in - house fighting.

Anyone heard any news on former Old Scholars seniors B & F Adam Daft?? Word coming out of Richmond is that plenty of his team mates are very unhappy of his attitude this year. He is almost unstoppable when on song!!

Last thing Richmond need at the moment is to lose A Daft - but he did look dis-interested on Saturday. Got towelled up by some skinny quick bloke in the first half and looked to have the sulks big time. The Campania rumour has been rife for weeks now but yet to happen. Perhaps following a bad loss and lack lustre performance of his own - now might be the time!!!

If he's not interested at Richmond, he is only hurting the footy club and his own reputation....it's a long season to be somewhere where you don't want to be !!

Spoke to someone close to Daft today who knew nothing of it, suggested it was crap

Did the other couple of ex-Channel players that are at OHA play? Interested to know if any of them copped any thuggery that Channel is being accused of. Or was Chilcott the only one who performed?

Nah, Aaron "Rex" Limbrick, Sean "Porno" Hollick and Luke "Haemorrhoid head" Burnett all played and played well.

I did not see any "thuggery" dished out to them.

I don't think anyone would criticise them for wanting to play in a team that has more chance of winning a game than losing a game after playing several seasons in a team that were the competition whipping boys.

Not to mention the $$$$$$$ :thumbsu:

Can categorically confirm that none of those boys get anything at all.

Was very impressed with the Channel boys discipline in the seniors no dirty stuff at all. Did have one young fella in the reserves (no 1) who belted a couple of our blokes and was running around trying to hit people but apart from that was impressed with the club.

This weeks Games-

Uni to defeat OHA by 18pts - Match of the year so far, last years premiers vs the challengers could go either way, a fwd line that can contain Archer, Bowering, Chilcott and Rogers has to be Respected but Uni with Gilmour and Welsh back from injury added to the run of Burgess, dunham and co this game will be a belter.

Hutchins to beat Dosa 32pts- Hutchins midfield should have too much depth for Dosa, even though they have the potential to take it right upto any team on their day.

Richmond to bounce back to winners list over St Virgils by 40+, alot of talk about daft but im sure the club is looking at putting that behind them and really consolidate their rightful spot at the top of the table. Parker a big loss for the Saints kicked 3 for Glenorchy 2's last week.

Thought's

Uni should beat OHA by more than 3 goals, although Uni's backline will have their work cut out for them. Handy inclusions in Gilmore and 'Birdman' Welch. John Morey set to rough up the potent OHA forward line!!

Hutchins will flog DOSA quite easily you would think! Not much in the way of quality out at cadburys. Can be likened to the Nth Melbourne 'shinboner' spirit....will have a fair dip, but when it comes to the crunch, just aren't good enough.

Richmond by 5-6 goals. Their mixture of new recruits and club stalwarts should really be starting to gel right now. If Daft can find he's blistering form of a few seasons ago, I'm sure his teammates/coach will quickly forget his slow start to the season. C'mon Dafty!!!

Interesting round coming up i reckon. If anyone's got some spare time i reckon they should pop down to Geilston Bay because OHA V UNI will be a block buster. Good match ups all over the ground. Both sides go into the game full of confidence after comfortable wins last round. Ill go with OHA... home ground advantage. Word around is that McCallum and Gilmore are both 50/50 to play.... Could have an impact on the result of the game i reckon

Hutchins should be to strong for an Improving Dosa side.. Lister is in good form through the midfield so dosa will need to shut him down early. Kim Harvey will need to have a big one for his side to have any chance. Hutchins by 32

Richmond will look to bounce back this week after a poor showing last week when they take on St Virgils. Richmond look to have too much quality all over the ground and should win. Barwin, Daft and Wiggins need to have good game while St Virgils will need solid games from Williams, Unsworth and Nibbs if they are to have any chance. Richmond by 50

OHA to beat Uni - the bubble around the rainbows is due to burst and with Gilmore out they are beatable.
Have heard Hutchins will be at full strength with the return of McGregor, Harriss and Doran and should account for DOSA although depends on whether DOSA stack their two's side with senior players as they are known to do.
Richmond to beat St Virgils easily

Do you call stacking a side when you make blokes who started training the thursday night before the first game wait untill they have some sort of fitness level and form ? Or is it when you have blokes who are reaching mid 30s and have played in the seniors for the last half a dozen years but do not have the pace or desire to keep pushing themselves but still like to have a kick and be part of the club ? I dont know if we can be accused of stacking our reserves side when we are trying to rebuild with some young blokes getting game time against good opposition .
