Seems to be a shocking time to bring that in, whether the points has helped or not, the comp is the most even it has been for 20 years. Don't touch it.

Decisions made by muppets and most are influenced by a select few. They sit in there office with heater on and probably never ventured out to country or local footy. Absolute muppets

I am hearing you Steele, if it’s not broken don’t fix it. Some clubs had backs against the wall, fighting for survival, climbing those rungs with grit, and for what? To be penalised by finishing top two. Absolute bloody hogwash, I’d love to give the mongrels who brainstorm these ridiculous ideas a piece of my mind. Albury got a free shot for a decade.

Pen pushers, think they know what’s best for the game. Get out in the frost and sell raffle tickets on the front line, get to a bloody game and you might know what’s going on. Bloody Goonies are out of touch with country football.
 
The neighbouring community Picola League has had tiered points system for two season now and they’ve had the closest season in 20 + years .
Be interesting to see how the varied points for every position on the ladder goes against picola’s grouped ( 1-4) (5-8) etc model .
It’s about creating a greater more even competition not rewarding clubs who have benefited from peaking when the system was introduced at the expense of those that weren’t .
 
Yarrawonga 3 tough games to finish the season, Albury , north and rovers. First 2 at home. 3 wins and percentage clear on top. If they get the win against Albury this week will we see them rest a few before finals.

Flirting with form is a very dangerous game to play, you put the best on the park and fine tune things in the last fortnight. Only exemption is a genuine injury cloud. Steve will be stunned if he doesn’t respect his opposition.
 
09 Tarrawingee lost one game for the year, it was the Grandfinal. The mindset wasn’t right, blokes down at the local gloating before the match was even played. I predicted the upset and the margin that day. Steve has his toe in two camps, players under injury clouds, doubt will be creeping in. You meet a fast running side with all guns blazing in the heat and it can be all over before you know it. There’s other sides who are hungrier.

This will end badly for albury I have a feeling, so many desperation ins isn't great for the culture of the club. Stevie will see this and really ram it home to he's playing group, albury are bleeding the predator line will be used today no doubt
 
Surely questions need to be asked about the ins at albury, smacked of desperation and led to one of their biggest losses, completely has ruined their season, overlooking guys who train and have played every week for gartlett, who's played for half a dozen clubs this year and has zero interest in actually been invested and bringing in guys after really long lay off's. They got what they deserved yesterday
