Wangaratta can shove that up their arse after the rubbish I’ve had to endure in the last 24 hours. As for their sporting field, it’s a disgrace, bitumen in some spots and a bloody quagmire in others. It’s not fit for finals football.

You think the discrepancy between first and second is great? I’ve seen enough of these two teams this year, 5-0 is the ledger. Throw a defensive forward on Broomhead and bully them in the contest, the scoreboard takes care of itself.

Can you give the people what they want and give us your thoughts on yesterdays performance?

Thoughts on the goalless first half from the Rovers?
Concerning that some of the guys couldn’t put up a fight?

On another note.
Hoppers just keep winning the close games, it’s a very good story. impressive from a side getting flogged 2 seasons ago.

Think Birralee Park will have a huge crowd next weekend
The build up was a witch hunt, conspiracy if you will. As for the goalless first half, Marklew snaps over his head and McCarthy sets sail from 50 in the first, both would usually hit, they land and it’s level at quarter time. Steve made the game an eyesore, counted 25 blokes in the forward fifty on most entries. Enter Murray and it’s a different ball game.

I was watching the 2016 afl grand final the other night, Kieran jack goes back with the flight and is accidentally cleaned up by easton wood, no 50 no report. That action would get 4 weeks now in the afl. If anyone thinks the afl are trying to protect the head its simply not the case, all it is, is so they can get insurance for the game. The nfl don't suspend players for headhits unless they are a multiple offender.
I'm not suggesting that the affects of concussion aren't real, but you actually can't stop head hits in a game which is 360 degrees, ball bounces funny, the ball is alive on the ground and in the air. Where you need to tackle to stop the player and them getting rid of the ball, part of the game involves shepherding and body contact or actions that are purely used for Aussie rules for 150 years. There is rarely a punch thrown these days, which is a great thing, there's no coming off the line and cleaning guys up.

No accident Trent. Wood took out KJ and no 50 - set the tone for the most shocking day ever seen in footy where the afl had the umps kiss the bulldogs on the dick

Big Larry I love your posts but maybe rovers and Carlton got something in common when it comes to scoreless finals! But please keep coming it’s the best forum in the country by a mile😂

How is it level at quarter time if Rovers kick two instead of none? Wang had 4 on the board at the end of the first quarter.

NA are a very good side.

Problem with Rovers is they nearly all travel - awful scenario. That's no way to run a club. Get real.
Sometimes and I'm sure everyone has been part of games where it doesn't matter how hard your trying or what you do nothing works and you get soundly beaten. Rovers get a chance at redemption in 2 weeks time and I'm betting it will be a hell of a lot closer.

North haven't troubled rovers all year. Rovers by 5 this week and by 4 points in the big dance, with murray, marklew, filo and obrien to lead the way and Geoff's big mate Gaston to start it in the centre square

Sure did, played for wang in about 1990 from memory. He has certainly been linked to the job. Have also heard what would be a more explosive story as to who the new coach is, would certainly ruffle a few feathers around the league if any legs to it.
Didn’t he play a season for Wang before his AFL career started?
I reckon they will be hoping to land Heatleys son as well.
