I like that squad. Pick the best bowlers... Starc is not the quality of the other ones in the squad.

Depending on the side, we could have 4 bowlers + Christian + Watson + Clarke + Dussey.

Batting seems like it's near its best - not sure on the bowling yet for ODIs. Does, and if so, where does Siddle or Pattinson fit in?

Would have Starc over Harris at the moment, think Harris has looked a bit off his best in the ODI's. McKay has been good, Lee and Hilf forced the issue with their performances last match... although personally I don't see the point of playing Lee anymore.

Pretty shattered tbh. Love Ponting, probably the inevitable but I reckon he should have been rested after the Tests. Hard to fathom how he's lost his form again.

On the squad it is good, much better with the name 'Watson' in it alone.

In my opinion, I'd still favour Harris over Starc, but you could go back and forth with that.

I agree with Lee though... he's still very good, and I daresay one of our BEST EVER one-day bowler's, but I too don't really see the point. I mean, if he's in good form and in our best team, then I guess he deserves the chance to play then...?

Think a Shield game or two will be good for Harris, although I wouldn't have minded seeing Patto playing one or two, either. There was no great need to rush him back, especially for ODI's where we have so many bowling options. Not sure he's going to add all that much to the ODI side, considering he's been out for a fair while and I think he would have benefitted more from Shield matches, where he can bowl more.

It is the right call IMO. Harris has been a bit off this series. The shield bowling will do him the world of good. I think the selectors are keen to get more overs into him in the view of finding out if he is even up to a tour of the Windies.

I might get in trouble if I pointed out both QLD and Victoria have must win shield matches in the next couple of weeks so of course Patto gets called up and Harris sent back to work on FC form....
