By implication that means he's (well) down on his career best.

If Neale was fit, then we'd probably have done more 'managing' of Hawkins through the season, especially since he had an interrupted pre-season.

Perhaps not surprising he might be running out of gas a bit now......problem is we've nobody to replace him with and we aren't in a position to be resting good players atm.

He has given your club great service. If he is fit, would be a pretty harsh call not to play him in the Granny, but then again, the Dees did that with Nathan Jones a few years ago.

I think Dixon absolutely plays in the finals if he is fit.

Rekon he will have a couple of weeks off right before September to freshen up but he can cover for Lycett in the ruck, park himself in the goal square or jog to D50 to take up space and contest the ball.

Only way I could see him being dropped is if they decide to bring Jonas in to play as the 3rd forward for some crazy reason.

I thought lycett was done after his pathetic 2021 prelim. Did not think he had this current charge in him one bit. Will probably be his last but has been unbelievable the last few weeks.

Jonas is definitely a one year too far award winner. Very odd choice to not swap the captaincy to Ollie in the off season.

Good player, but he appears to have already started his apprenticeship as an umpire.

Flapping arms around like a seagull, appealing for frees, is a sure sign that the end is nigh.

Revisiting Jack Reiwoldt.

23 goals =19th in the Coleman.

Not a star performance to be sure, but he definitely earns his place in the team on results rather than on reputation.

Yeah he's really up and down now. If he can take some marks and kick 2-3 he's doing his job. But he's going to have games where he won't get a touch.

Credit to his football smarts that he's worked out how to contribute at all given how much pace he's lost.

He’s old and slow, but has never been that fast. It’s been a good performance in what has mostly been a struggling team, with poor ball use going I50. I’m not sure he’d have more goals if Lynch was uninjured, but I think Richmond probably would. I think it’s definitely his last season so it’s disappointing that he is having to shoulder the load again in what should be his swansong.

Passes KB on 778 goals with his next, and needs 22 to match Richo’s 800. Hoping he gets there. A bag of 6+ would really help.

Haven’t watched too many Richmond games this year, but can see Riewoldt wanting to go around again. Although, a new coach and mini-rebuild period - good chance to get some games into a kid though and let another good-boy join Fox Footy.

Walker will go around again. The Crows need his size and I don’t think Thilthorpe is ready to be the key target.

Hawkins? Seriously? On track for a 50+ goals for the season.

Dixon will go on. But on minimum chips. Although, he is probably 1 injury away from it all being over for his career.

The only power key forward that will retire this year is Franklin. He definitely went 1 too long.
