One observation I made last night was that Patrick Dangerfield tries to make everything he does look spectacular.
Even a simple handball has to be at 120% like he's winning the game on his own.

I’m a bit fearful for the Pies today. They’ve been fantastic this season, very admirable and play a great brand of footy but that back line on paper looks so bloody short handed against Eagles forwards.
Can see Eagles getting the coziest of runs into a Prelim and a great chance at making GF from that.
Pies would want to dominate in the middle and lock it forward for long periods to have any hope at all i feel, but just think they’re almost at breaking point and might get a right proper smacking.

And I wonder if selection was more based on having the double chance?
If they don’t play Treloar, Goldsack and Howe they are faced with the same decision next week going into a sudden death game.
At least this way, yes they are rolling the dice, but if they lose they’ve got a game into those 3. Or if one breaks down they can plan B next week.

Totally agree all things side playing great team football.I think if they win the battle in the middle and stop the supply there a show.Eagles got a few out Nick Nat and Gaff and welcone back Kennedy for me there not playing as good as early on.
