Ablett’s been offered a week.
I’m guessing he’ll challenge, because he’s such a clean player with an (literally) impeccable record.
will take it imo

his body needs a rest anyway. also he can load up on dodgey supplements for the run home

It’s like he wanted to cop a week lol why not just go to the coach and say I want a week off instead of sniping every team the last 4 weeks . As if they will lose to shitney anyway at shit litter park .

Remember guys.
You can punch some campaigner square in the jaw twice and only get 1 week. As long as it doesn't break their jaw like Gaff did to Brayshaw.

Where is the 'potential to cause injury' here hmm?

miles is some nobody

brayshaw is related to norf pres.

THE CHARMED run of Geelong champion Gary Ablett at the Match Review has come to an abrupt end after he was offered a one-match ban for striking Gold Coast midfielder Anthony Miles.

Ablett was handed a reprieve at the AFL Tribunal for elbowing Essendon's Dylan Shiel in the head three weeks ago, having initially been offered a one-game suspension, before walking away unscathed a fortnight ago for a similar incident with North Melbourne's Sam Wright.

However, it's a case of third time unlucky for the veteran Cat, with his apparent punch to the face of Miles worthy of a one-match ban, according to Michael Christian.

The Match Review Officer assessed the incident as intentional conduct with low impact to the head, rubbing him out of Geelong's round 11 clash with Sydney.

Despite his successful challenge of the Shiel suspension, it is understood Ablett will not take this case to the Tribunal.

It will be the first time Ablett has been suspended throughout his illustrious 331-game career.
