Personally, I think it's fair enough that there is a home side for finals and that they should host it.
But, not our problem that Kardinia only seats 25 000 or whatever.
WA has a stadium that can seat 100 000 ? They should be allowed to host it if they're the home team.
But again, not our problem that an agreement has been signed for Grand Finals to stay at the MCG for the next 50 years or whatever.

Do these whingers actually have any reasonable solutions?
Should no team play at the MCG until the Grand Final?

No they don’t and that’s the point. They think the AFL can just say a week before ok it’s going to be in Perth. The majority of stakeholders for the AFL are based on the eastern seaboard.
I also brought up the point earlier about how many AFL members have guaranteed Grand Final tickets? If there is 20k it rules out Brisbane Adelaide and Sydney straight away as there would be lucky to be about 15k worth of tickets for members and supporters of clubs. What right does Perth have It changed to there but the other states don’t?

also the agreement isn’t new. Players know when they sign a contract to play in any other state other then Victoria there will be travel and to win a flag they have to win it at the MCG. The signing of a contract is a voluntary option. They’re not forced to sign for WCE after the draft years

Yup they ask for a truely neutral venue it’s a nice idea but absolutely stupid in practice
Imagine having a stadium with that kind of capacity only being used for finals it would be a complete waste and poor investment for anyone involved

if they are so upset About it stop following the afl and just support a local league because that’s the only way they are going to escape these issues

facts
1)..There is a team called West Coast.
2)..They must have players.
3)..The only other option for players in West Aus is to move to Victoria.
4)..There is no reason for the AFL to instill all that travel.
