I played a season in Cairns and Cazalys was my home ground. The weirdest feeling ever as a footballer from Victoria was to play in that heavy pounding rain, with no mud and still oppressively hot and barely able to breath when the rain stopped.
Then having the cane toads infest the field particularly during the breaks lol

I had a similar experience just reversed when I went from up north to down here. "why isn't the rain hot down here?"

I said this yesterday but 3 players from each team must be inside 50 at each ball-up and throw in. Would make the game far better to watch as less congestion and players actually in the forward line when teams attack.

Sydney parked the bus and then blamed us for being a good defensive team. I just don’t understand why teams with no chance of winning flags and young players don’t try to play a winning brand of football even if they get flogged. Saving face only results in them staying shit longer.
