Ugh Storm. Underwhelming end to their season given what’s been happening. Penrith’s defence was just too much

What’d storm do on their week off?
Looked hungover as fu**
Totally agree, didnt have a go to play ,Grant fails to create anything at hooker, disappointing seeing they had 2 weeks to work on set plays
,oh well they got a flag to show for the last 2 years of dominance, cant win em all ,but ?
some very astute Storm fans concerned 5-6 weeks back sayin Finucane was cooked and the right edge was vulnerable, well that was very prophetic
Jennings & Smith made 7 crucial errors between them,1,a dropped bomb resulted in a try to Penrith and the fumbled ball by jennings for a certain try in the first 15 mins, credit to Penrith, before i forget Munster's kicking today was abysmal, except for the kick for Papps he never put the ball in a pressure position
all game.Christian Welch has had a bad habit of going in head first, that was probably his 6th or 7th HIA for the year and the 2nd game in his last 5 that hes been concussed within the first 20 mins and unable to complete the match.Brandon Smiths record over his last 5 games is even worse, failed to complete 3 of them

Well done to the demons. But is this an * cup like it was lat year????
Nah, no asterisk to any AFL flag, neither this one or any before it. Won it fair and square, and deservedly and hopefully temporarily only take over from our reign.

That said, the Dees would do well to enjoy the moment while it lasts, become eventually they will come for them. They better soak up the spotlight and the almost universal respect of the plebs in the media, because it will be brief and because they will turn on the Demons just like they turn on all winners, most recently the Tigers.

Whilst Simon Goodwin can split with his wife of 15 years when in the interstate hub, and Petracca and Hunt can play grab-arse in the huddle on camera with only the meagerest of any media backlash when the club are the up-and-coming-darlings of the footy media, they're now the tall poppies and soon the torrent of goodwill will change.

The challenge will now be (unofficially, of course) thrown down amongst the gutter-trash footy reporters to try to bring them down and dilute that hard-earned respect, by magnifying every little indiscretion as well as filling in the gaps with their own version of events to achieve their muck-raking intentions.

it was weird alright.
I think they kicked a goal on the siren, from my hazy memory. Could’ve caused the **** up.

They kicked a goal on the siren and there was a bunch of Giants fans with trombones and trumpets who played their song at every goal.

It wasn't an AFL stuff-up.
