I don't disagree with anything you're saying about the Dogs, but one of the few matches I was able to get to see live this season was Richmond vs Melbourne, and the Demons flopping, arm-waving and cheap shots was unprecedented in any match I've been to in recent times. Oliver, Pickett, Melksham, Fritsch and Langdon were all major culprits on the day. They weren't much better against Essendon in R15 either, and I definitely have no love for the Bombers.

If it's diving, flopping and feigning for free kicks, reversals and 50's you're concerned about, Melbourne certainly aren't any better than TAFKA Footscray.

Stopped watching after Gawn threw himself, onto the Astro turf for a free. That’s what they’ve doing ALL year. Was like watching Neymar play. As a PSG fan I stop watching when he gets subbed on.

I stopped watching any football after about round 18 or 19, but thank **** that season is over. Glad we got 17 and 19 and nobody can put an asterisk on them, as I think I might have felt a bit hollow if 20 or 21 was our drought breaker.

I don't think I watched an entire non-Richmond game this year. Didn't even watch the granny, just caught up on some tv shows. I find the game unwatchable. Once we were done and were starting to put players on ice I had absolutely no desire to watch another minute.

Or they could just as easily slide back down to where they belong. Petracca gets syndesmosis, Oliver gets a knee into a kidney and misses 4 or 5 months, or they suffer even half the extent of Richmond's injury list in 2021 and they're just an average team again.

No team ever gets two blessed seasons like this one.
