Anyone listen to the Dyl and friends podcast with Marc Murphy, apparently near the end of 2015 we were courting him and he was considering joining. Mentioned if Malthouse wasn't sacked, he would have left and joined us.

Dealing with the hypothetical, if Malthouse wasn't sacked for another season, Murphy joined us. I don't we would have been any better as team, don't think we would have lost anything, because we probably wouldn't have brought in Yarran and used that to trade him in. Reckon we would still win 3 flags.

The only net benefit for us would be to give Carlton fans shit for getting Murphy a flag.
