Well bears have finally won a game at the G, and a big one at that, I wouldn’t write them off just yet. Melbourne are the best interceptors in the league and they decided to just chaos it forward and take them out of the game, they can do the same to Geelong.

They have the game to beat Geelong, they lock down teams strengths very well.

One upside of the Cats winning is most of their team will retire and then they aren't a contender anymore.

This is the best result for our club. The players will know that they missed out on a real chance and would have had a really winnable prelim against Geelong. Realistically, we probably would have lost at some point anyway, but this will certainly spur the boys on in the preseason even further.

With a renewed hunger and a new look, elite midfield, we should have every right to be excited for 2023.
