No greek herbs and spices , I’m watching France V Greece in the Rugby League World Cup so getting into the spirit might have a nip of ouzo as well

Gill has said that he’ll stay on to oversee the sweeping under the carpet of the Hawthorn racist saga.

“Both coaches are expected to resume their jobs - in Clarkson’s case commence - once the terms of reference are finally agreed, and while the panel conducts its investigation into allegations made from the pair’s time at Hawthorn.”

All done. Gil can move on now. Coaches back at their jobs before the investigation even starts.

If anyone has Dimma or Luke Livingstone on twit or insta etc could you ask them if they ever did get to go into league HQ (as Dimma said they'd been invited to) to watch the "conclusive vision" that the ARC used to determine the signalled goal was in fact a point ?

Surely this doesn't just fade away, never to be mentioned again ?!??

The AFL just admitted today that they made a mistake in the AFLW match involving a clear goal to Sydney that was awarded a point (Sydney lost by 4pts). However in our match they said it was "conclusively" a point despite all year, the umpires call was observed unless there was "conclusive evidence".

So, where is it ?

I’m sure I read somewhere that Dimma did indeed get given a tour of the ARC and Brad Scott (of all people for God’s sake) showed him that ridiculous diagram of triangulation and said that was the conclusive proof. I don’t think Dimma was convinced.

Exclusive footage of Brad Scott explaining the evidence that determined the goal to be a point.

What about the fans ?

Are we just supposed to accept that lame ass "trust us, it was conclusive" ?

Why can't the vision or whatever it is, be released?

Ok, I'll even admit it was probably a point but their own rule was that it needed conclusive proof to overturn the umpires decision and they were the rules adhered to all year. Until that moment and it arguably cost us the game. Grrrr

It wasn’t a point. It was a goal. The umpire said so.

I agree with you 200% YeOld, they didn’t follow their own rules. They can’t show us any conclusive vision because there isn’t any. Otherwise we’d have seen it by now.

The AFL will never admit anything. I guess if the club is accepting it we fans will just have to move on also. Personally I’m still not happy about it.
