Not sure why you disagreed with National Storage, an existing sponsor with a yellow and black logo? Way better than a green nib. I also wasn't advocating it above the number. If I had my way there's be no ******* logos all over the playing gear at all.
I like the colours but feel its a povo sponsor for the jumper

fine with it being on coaches polo though

Swans are now my second team.

I used to hate that Carlton whistler on the TV every time they got a mark or a goal, the campaigner would wear out my Speakers with his whistling.

A real arrogant whistle it was ,the bloke must have booked his seat right next to the commentary box every year.

Tiger, (Panthera tigris), largest member of the cat family (Felidae), rivaled only by the lion (Panthera leo) in strength and ferocity.
Geelong Cats member of the flog family. You want any kind of association with that disease ridden cesspool? Imagine the shit we'd cop BeInG sPoNsOrEd bY ThE cAtS

Yep agree

Even going back 20 + years. If we drafted Pavlich instead of Fiora

However, our dynasty would have been 15 years ago LOL

If we drafted Pav or Buddy we don’t get Dusty. All hail Fiora and Tambling … there really should be statues of them at Punt Road … alongside Jordan McMahon whose goal after the siren ensured Demons got a priority pick enabling them to get both Scully and Trengove, leaving Dusty for us.

It didn't matter about the dees priority pick, we were always taking Dusty.

If Richmond had pick 1 it would've been Dusty, ditto for pick 2.

Richmond was seriously shitting bricks that the dees would take Dusty and when it came to our pick we couldn't read out his name fast enough.

Discussions of historical counter factual are cool.

But what has changed to me isn't that we picked player X or Y, it is that we are so much more professional now. No more Yarrans. Every player drafted you can see why. We don't hit our round 1's as well as I'd like. But then those we do hit are A graders (Shai, Balta)If you can get enough picks in that under 30, preferably under 20 zone you get 1 in 3 right you'll always have about 4 A grade players on your list. the later picks we try to get solid B graders. Means the squad will always be building towards something - even if we aren't sure what it will be a the players mature.

Then FA and trade to fill absolute needs means hopefully we can just stay up.

10 years ago I'd would have laughed that we could do that, we were a D grade amateur organisation compared to where we are now. Right now I see us staying up due to a professional and carefully though tout approach. Some luck and we are genuine contenders with our approach. If we aren't contending we pick up Gibcus (A grade) and then FA our way to contending.

You just have to be clear and careful in your list analysis and don't get carried away with needing something here and now. If you overpay you start to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs. Care and professionalism to a well structured plan and we end up with a list that is always rebuilding and regenerating.

See...once our great recruiting staff are pinched...observant scouts bought...we then enter unchartered waters...professionalism needs to consistently breed in every nook and cranny of a performing organization (from the CEO to the boot studder!)...that's very hard to do and maintain...

Absolutely. It's a culture and management structure thing. Individuals matter, but the system matters more
