Totally agree. Blokes with massive reputations and seniority like Heeney, Mills, McCartin, Lloyd, Franklin and Reid shat the bed on the biggest stage. I'll give Buddy a bit of a leave pass as he's risen to the occasion on GF day in the past, but the other blokes were shameful.

Of the senior players, only Parker could really hold his head high. The rest were a joke - had numerous opportunities to impose themselves and attempt to change the flow of the contest but just didn't bring it. There's no way Trent Cotchin, with his ageing and often ailing body, would go down without even a whimper like the Swannies did. But it was left to Chad Warner and Parker to almost solely fly the flag on the day. Pathetic.

I can't believe nobody is asking this yet, surely the AFL fans and community are champing at the bit to see what the new rule changes are this year.

With Geelong being so utterly dominant, walking through finals (mainly because they didn't play Richmond their finals kryptonite) and generally ruining the game for everyone else, the AFL must have a plethora of new rules up their sleeve to stop the raging juggernaut that is the rampaging Cats.

Oh maybe the AFL is TRIALLING all these new rules ?? That must be it !

I for one can't wait to see the new rules. After all, Geelong could win the next five flags with their Dads army old boys. Someone has to stop them !

We can't have a situation where they simply get away with it, playing their disgusting style and ruining football for everyone.

Soooooo AFL, where are the new rules ???

can you imagine we make the grand final against the swannies

the umps would destroy us to make up for the swannies getting reamed on gf day in 2016 and the fact they were shite last year in the granny

yes surely it's our turn for them to trial a new rule at our closed training only then bring it in immediately
