Totally agree with this comment.
I find my interest in the game has been slowly fading for a decade now, particularly in neutral games, I pretty much only watch a few here and there now, and only coz everything else on tv is garbage.

Stand rule and over umpiring on top of money driven greed from Gil and his nuffies has led the game down a path where it’s totally just a business now, zero respect for the fans or the game as it once was.

The gather (reacha) round is the prime example of where the game is at, selling your soul for extra money whilst there is still clubs that struggle to stay afloat and the general aesthetics of the game are watching 4 umps blow the whistle and everyone guess who’s free it is.

Gil has fugged this game 10x worse than Demetriou ever did.
