Regarding Andy Gowers, I cannot find any info online, but do I recall correctly that in 1988, when at recruiting age he specifically asked not to come to Richmond because we were crap, even though he barracked for us as a kid (his dad played 20-odd games for the Tiges). Anyone else recall this?
