Essentially if Martin played for Geelong he would be GOAT to the power of GOAT. Richmond players marked more harshly due to inferiority complex of club size and success.

Cotchin is better than Selwood in premiership years and more courageous yet most would disagree.

Those guys must be wishing they played in modern era where you could nurture your unique talent during the day as opposed to doing it outside their regular job at a bank or pulling beers. Also just jabbing with pain killers shortened careers or had them lesser players earlier. still happens I know but they put more thought into whether to do that these days.
How many blokes would prosper with wind being less a factor and being able to play above the ground. Some weekends grounds were 60% mud

I know you more than hold your own on the main board but I rarely go there because I find some things said by opposition fans to be downright insulting and I refuse to give them more ammunition to use against the Tigers.

A couple of the Cats supporters, one being Phatboy or whatever he calls himself is just plain nasty. Ridicules everyone in a really sarcastic way. No need for it.

• It's because in 2017 we werent supposed to make finals let alone win it. We were the comps basket case, it was never supposed to change.
• We knocked off Geelong for the first time in years when it mattered most so their fans couldn't accept it and needed to find an excuse as to why
• After being told 2017 was a Bulldogs 2016 fluke, we dominated the following year before running out of steam when it mattered most
• Most haters thought that would be the end of it especially once we lost the best Full Back in the game however, we still managed to go on and win it in 2019
• Haters could no longer just ignore our success and turned to us being lucky, easy fixture, playing at G, playing a non-Vic team in the GF (even though that same team disposed of another large Vic team in the Prelim)
• Haters in 2020 thought once again now that we had won 2 flags we would begin our slide, Covid hit, bad press on player behaviour and attitudes surfaced, the AFL wanted someone else to win but once again we won it again, Back-to-Back at the GABBA against the cats.

We will never get the recognition because it would mean those haters have to admit they were wrong.
