The score review system is a joke. If the umpire believes it’s touched why does he have to go to the video review? That means he’s not sure and it’s a goal. One of the most embarrassing systems in sports.
Calrton just beat Melbourne without McKay, Walsh, Cerra , Williams, Kennedy & McGovern (meh). Fair effort. The touched call is what it is. Ump thought it was touched and the call was not conclusive. The right call to the right logic was made. Shame (for us) they didn't follow that process for ARCGate

What other solution do you have for it then? I think the system is fine, it just needs to be applied more consistently & the AFK stop being cheap campaigners and pay for multiple HQ camera's to be installed in all the AFL grounds. You need to have a rule of "following the cal" to be the tiebreaker for when its near impossible to decide from the video.Except for ARCgate, i've always found the rule to be solid and easy to understand. It's why the ARCgate was such a clear scam

Carlscum supporters would go close to being the dumbest going around and that's saying something when you put them up against a pies supporter. Im not sure if they are soccer converts to AFL but smile me how many times do they get the calls wrong. Expected the umpires pet Curnow to get a free when the dees defender legally punched the ball. They call out ball when the dees player has handballed it.

Dunno if I can bare watching the finals this year with the Filth and the Scum up and about. Makes me want to puke.
It is a good effort, but they’ve had all those players in this season except Williams and have played worse, might be a case of right team balance currently, it’s working for them.

If they'd helped out the salary crisis at a club like GWS, Crows or Suns etc by taking the Grundy contract off their books then it's sort of understandable to a degree. But why would they assist their biggest rival for a premiership? Everyone not living under an Uluru-sized rock could see the Pies were going to be right in the window this year. Offloading Grundy's salary (or a good chunk of it at least) maybe enabled Collingwood to entice McStay, Hill etc to the club, or keep one of their other more crucial stars.
Just such dumb business on so many levels. Any even microscopic semblance of a "Dee-nasty" went out the window with that Dee-bacle.
You forgot Silvagni lol. Only McKay, Walsh, Cerra improve that team. Dees were without Fritsch, Petty, McDonald(or Brown) and Oliver was first up for 3 months, and obviously not near his best.
