He is comparing to the Lynch bump and saying Lynch got off so Maynard should get off, but this tool was the one screaming that Lynch should get min of 4 week and yet he wants Maynard to go free. How can anyone with the slightest bit of common sense take this guy seriously.

Cornes was seat 1A saying Mansell was a pretty straight forward 3-week suspension despite having 0.1 of a second to react when going FOR THE BALL. The guy doesn’t even hide his Tiger bias any more. Needs to be called out. You can’t support 3-weeks for Mansell and innocence for Maynard 12-weeks later.

However, I'll start off by saying this:

Michael Christian sent Lynch straight to the tribunal, yet he wanted to throw Maynards out? Laughable The guy should be sacked for being so blatantly biased.

Collingwood can however use parts of our defence for their argument. Maynards actions shouldn't be considered rough conduct in that he braced for contact instead of choosing to bump. He needs to argue that he rotated his body because if he didn't it would have opened himself up in a vulnerable decision.

That's how the pies need to contest it, the same way we did for Lynch however this is where the similarities end as Lynch had eyes for the ball the whole time before bracing for impact, in Maynards case he didn't have eyes for the ball and as soon as choose to jump off the ground he lost vision with the ball.

Comparing the 2 as like for like is just hog wash and media hysteria, using bits of both instances because of similar outcomes doesn't mean those actions were the same.
