Blind Freddy can see that Maynard clearly jumped up to try and smother the ball and then had to brace on the way down so that him and Brayshaw wouldn't collide heads.

If he gets suspended for this he would have been better off just taking the concussion. At least then he'd get to play the prelim/granny

i understand the background that they played jnr football together and are friends

but i just think that the time for maynard to go over and applogise in person for probably ending his career would probably be AFTER the tribunal decision,
