Poms will win with some fake drama along the way, they want a "classic" Ashes to save test cricket. But test cricket is near deceased.

My favourite fake drama in the Ashes is the Ben Stokes wince. I counted at least 7 critical injuries that made him wince after playing a shot in the first innings. But so brave is he that each time he had to play the next ball he would throw his whole body into it in such a way you wouldn't think there was anything wrong with him, and then wince. As fake drama goes, that is as good as it gets.

Without the Karen eruption about it, it would have been been reasonable for the coach to express empathy for Lloyd the player in a similar manner to as Lloyd the commentator suggested immediately after Karen went off.

Don't entirely disagree with Karen on this.
