once youve engaged a lawyer your immediately considered incompetent in that court (playing arena,like a tennis court, rackets anyone?,so it is indeed a racket ) the lawyer can and will dictate how long and how much its gonna cost ya as hes fully in charge ($$$),doesnt matter what you say that unqualified CNT up there, the wolf in sheeps clothing only reads paper, he/she cannot & doesnt hear a thing coming outta the mouth of an incompetent man, once you get rid of the attorney(theyre actually there to turn you over) you'll magically notice your claim expediate at a considerable pace,TZ will come away with few bird crumbs if hes lucky

It really is a preposterous lack of logic on the part of these oppo supporters. Or perhaps it's just willful ignorance.

Let's look at the Hawks for a moment, just as an example. If they were such a brilliant combination of players, deserving enough to fill out a combined dynasty team, then surely that detracts from Clarko as a coach in comparison to Dimma? And if Dimma wasn't the best coach this generation, then surely his team must've comprised brilliant individuals executing just a standard game plan in order to be so dominant in big matches for so long? But neither the players nor Dimma get the acknowledgement from the oppo, or the footy media tbf.

I was in awe of the Lions from 2001-2004 - loved watching them dismantle their finals opponents at the time (except us in 2001), but they really only had a handful of brilliant players that would be worthy of such a combined squad - Voss, Aker, Black were incredible, and maybe Lappin and Brown would qualify for the XXII. However none of their backline were superior to their Tiger counterparts of 16 years later ... Rance was better than Michael, Vlastuin better than Leppa, Houli better than Johnson etc.

Even overlooking Dusty's 3 Norm Smith Medals just for a moment, each of which they will argue absurdly that there was a more worthy recipient on the day (yet apparently not worthy enough to qualify for a combined dynasty team ), he has also won 3 Gary Ayres Medals for the best player in a finals series three times! And was the clear BOG in the Qualifying Final against the Hawks in 2018, before the knee injury took him down for the Prelim ... he was undoubtedly on track for another Ayres in that year, no doubt about it. That is just insanely consistent brilliance and dominance.

If this were another club besides Richmond I would still believe the same. I like to think that I'm really fair to other clubs, even on the main boards - anyone can be sucky on their own club boards. If there were another team that had accomplished what Richmond did across those 4 years 2017-2020, and had the same players and coach and playing style as we had during that time, I would still argue in their favour.

But these numpties just refuse to acknowledge that group of Tiger players and their accomplishments during that dynasty. It's too confronting for them, so they just continue to double down on their nonsense.

The Dusty one is their biggest conundrum. The only player worthy of being in a combined dynasty team …. yet despite leading the team to a dynasty and minor premiership over a 4-year period and being our only elite player, not in the best handful of players this century.

That’s when the ‘2017-2020’ was a weak era kicks in. It’s quite amazing really … despite the elite players being largely the same cohort in 2016 and 2021 … Buddy, Danger, Cameron, Hawkins, Selwood, Greene, Bont, Cameron, Pendlebury, Neale, Cripps, Boak, Parker, Mitchell, Macrae, Sidebottom, Shuey, Treloar, Grundy, Kelly, Zorko, Walker, Viney, Coniglio, Duncan, Gunston, Walters, Wingard, Dunkley … I won’t go on ….

And despite coaching standards improving and technology improving and fitness improving ….

Despite all this, for some inexplicable reason the quality of football took a nosedive specifically from 2017-2020. All the players somehow started playing like crud, but then on October 1st 2020, a magic wand appeared and everyone returned to being excellent footballer again and the standards elevated once more.

It’s a miracle occurrence that should be investigated more… quite amazing.

Rozee signed until 2032 on $1m+ per season. Hopper and TT are signed until 2029 on ballpark $750k. Yes they are a bit older, but those deals are no longer looking even remotely risky compared to Naughton and now Rozee.
