Unfair that the Renegades have to fly to Geelong to play cricket.EFA
It’s dumb though why play a game at that shanty town when the team is melb Renegades ffs
I'd be more shocked if they found someone in Geelong who wasn't on methGeelong curator at the cricket cracked out on Meth while on the job

there is not one person left at rfc that was there in 2002 fmd jokeTZ suing RFC for injury mismanagement.
But playing for another club after RFC weakens his case you'd think. This hearing was 3 years ago. Lawyering up isn't fun.

RFC being the sole defendant in zantucBombers de-list Zantuck
View attachment 1869525
Essendon today de-listed Ty Zantuck, bringing to five the number of players de-listed in the past two days. Zantuck joins Ben Haynes, Marc Bullen, Sam Hunt and Damian Cupido as players not offered new contracts for 2006. Rookie Adrian Wilson has also been advised he will not be elevated to the senior list.
Zantuck was taken by Essendon in the 2005 pre-season draft and played nine senior games averaging just under 14 possessions playing deep in defence. Injuries put him out of business for much of the second half of the season.
Adrian Wilson spent three seasons on Essendon’s rookie list and looked set to get elevated to the senior side late in the season before an off-field indiscretion cost him dearly. He has been an outstanding servant for the Bendigo Bombers during his time on the Essendon rookie list. Wilson will continue to train with Essendon and will nominate for the national and pre-season drafts.

once youve engaged a lawyer your immediately considered incompetent in that court (playing arena, like a tennis court, rackets anyone?,so it is indeed a racketTZ suing RFC for injury mismanagement.

We got Lynch on $ 375k an appearance this year.Kosi 3: Chol 5 . This guy on 8: is about right.
Lengths of contract seem ridiculous. But Chol got picked up by the Hawks.
I think players move club under contract more and more.
It used to be wait until out of contract. Now on a whim.

GWS say hi, the thought process of a Richmond supporter never ceases to amaze me. Not every team can rise, for teams to rise others need to fall.AFL 2023 Ladder (Round 24)
Club Played Wins Losses Draws % Points Collingwood 23 18 5 0 127.0 72 Brisbane 23 17 6 0 123.1 68 Port Adelaide 23 17 6 0 112.7 68 Melbourne 23 16 7 0 125.2 64 Carlton 23 13 9 1 113.3 54 St Kilda 23 13 10 0 107.8 52 GWS 23 13 10 0 107.1 52 Sydney 23 12 10 1 110.0 50
Prolly fair to say that those teams that finished in the top 8 will be there again...
I reckon the Doggies and the Crows are a good chance to make it next year as well...
Maybe Scats as well...
Then us...
That's a total of 11 Teams before us...
That's a big ask of a Team with new Coaches to make the eight!
I mean which Team has to drop for us to be included?!?
You watched rolling the pitch?Yeah I was watching that
It really is a preposterous lack of logic on the part of these oppo supporters. Or perhaps it's just willful ignorance.
Let's look at the Hawks for a moment, just as an example. If they were such a brilliant combination of players, deserving enough to fill out a combined dynasty team, then surely that detracts from Clarko as a coach in comparison to Dimma? And if Dimma wasn't the best coach this generation, then surely his team must've comprised brilliant individuals executing just a standard game plan in order to be so dominant in big matches for so long? But neither the players nor Dimma get the acknowledgement from the oppo, or the footy media tbf.
I was in awe of the Lions from 2001-2004 - loved watching them dismantle their finals opponents at the time (except us in 2001), but they really only had a handful of brilliant players that would be worthy of such a combined squad - Voss, Aker, Black were incredible, and maybe Lappin and Brown would qualify for the XXII. However none of their backline were superior to their Tiger counterparts of 16 years later ... Rance was better than Michael, Vlastuin better than Leppa, Houli better than Johnson etc.
Even overlooking Dusty's 3 Norm Smith Medals just for a moment, each of which they will argue absurdly that there was a more worthy recipient on the day (yet apparently not worthy enough to qualify for a combined dynasty team), he has also won 3 Gary Ayres Medals for the best player in a finals series three times! And was the clear BOG in the Qualifying Final against the Hawks in 2018, before the knee injury took him down for the Prelim ... he was undoubtedly on track for another Ayres in that year, no doubt about it. That is just insanely consistent brilliance and dominance.
If this were another club besides Richmond I would still believe the same. I like to think that I'm really fair to other clubs, even on the main boards - anyone can be sucky on their own club boards. If there were another team that had accomplished what Richmond did across those 4 years 2017-2020, and had the same players and coach and playing style as we had during that time, I would still argue in their favour.
But these numpties just refuse to acknowledge that group of Tiger players and their accomplishments during that dynasty. It's too confronting for them, so they just continue to double down on their nonsense.
Saints wont make it, they're terribleMelb could self implode
Saints won't get the same run again, over achieved
Swans scraped in when they probably shouldn't have
GWS, will they get the second years blues under Kingsley
4 legitimate question marks on teams in the 8. Now, all four could make it again, no worries, but I could also see a reult where 3/4 didn't make it
Rozee is >>>>> TT / Hopper / NaughtonRozee signed until 2032 on $1m+ per season. Hopper and TT are signed until 2029 on ballpark $750k. Yes they are a bit older, but those deals are no longer looking even remotely risky compared to Naughton and now Rozee.
Love it!

In our defence should be the fact that he was at EFC at all.. the injury not bad enough to prevent a second club employing him. Chuck in the fact that he played with an edfl clubonce youve engaged a lawyer your immediately considered incompetent in that court (playing arena, like a tennis court, rackets anyone?,so it is indeed a racket) the lawyer can and will dictate how long and how much its gonna cost ya as hes fully in charge ($$$),doesnt matter what you say that unqualified CNT up there, the wolf in sheeps clothing only reads paper, he/she cannot & doesnt hear a thing coming outta the mouth of an incompetent man, once you get rid of the attorney(theyre actually there to turn you over) you'll magically notice your claim expediate at a considerable pace,TZ will come away with few bird crumbs if hes lucky
