The giants are a good example of taking picks when teams want your players. They kept freshening up and building up.and when it clicks you have all the talent you need to win the premiership. We did them the favour taking taranto and hopper, it's let green really take that midfield. Amd collingwood gave them Callaghan. It's the long road but the right one and I think we have to take it
The giants have managed their list really well, they've always had assets that they can trade out as you said but they just keep nailing all their draft picks and their older guys don't stop.

The giants seem like a legit footy club with soul and substance and actual meaning. The sun's are the very definition of a plastic franchise in a plastic city.

Their colors, their song, their mascot ( a *ing sun?) everything about them is fake.
the era of BBL franchises....horrible names, colours.
Suns had Red and yellow smoke go off as they ran on the ground.
At least the stadium music is like a night club.

Tiges had cool drums 2 years ago.

Well the Mugpies getting done last night was a bright spot on an otherwise bad day footy wise. Hopefully the old premiership hangover is taking effect.
Could be literally... Heard from a very reliable source (my nephew) that he saw beau mcreery and other pies players getting off their face at a club last Saturday. So a week before the first game they were all pissing on. Hoping their celebrations continue

Krakour's must be hard up for a dollar again... through old connections I kinda knew who he was doing the trafficking for. Heard for all his convictions he got away with 10x more. Jimmy's criminal history makes for interesting reading. No wonder Andrew followed him into prison.

"In 1974, Krakouer, at the age of 16, was convicted of rape in Albany Court; despite maintaining the sex was consensual..[9] He was convicted in the same court of driving causing death in 1976.[10] In 1985, Krakouer was convicted of 26 counts of sexual penetration of a minor, assault, abduction and unlawful imprisonment.[11] Despite being very well paid during his career, Krakouer was a problem gambler and frittered away all of his money.[12] Consequently, Krakouer turned to crime to get by. In 1996, Krakouer was convicted and imprisoned for 16 years for his part in a drug-trafficking scheme transporting amphetamines from Melbourne to Perth. Having served nine years of his sentence, he was released on work release in August 2004. He has also had restraining orders held against him due to his violent behaviour.[13][14]

In September 2023, Jim and Phil Krakouer, along with six other former AFL players who played football between 1975 and 2022, launched a class action lawsuit against the AFL in the Supreme Court of Victoria, alleging that the AFL failed to protect players from racial abuse on the field.[15][16]"
