We have to delist some of them though. And demote them to the VFL before anything else.

McIntosh, Grimes, Marlion Pickett, Jacob Koschitzke, Sam Naismith and Nathan Broad.

Kosi and Naismith traded into the club,....coach always plays them ASAP. Gibcus was OK and may as well keep playing Banks.

Dimma, Mini and now Yze are selecting the same "best available" players.

The 2022 midfield plus Pickett, Graham, Kmac, Mansell, Grimes etc For good football for a quarter and a bit vs Suns.


long season though.....see what happens..

bizarrely our injury list is 2 players. Mansell, a pre season regular is off it.

MRJ is playing OK ditto Campbell.

To be fair, a "giant" isn't a real thing, at least a "sun" is a real thing haha (and it's an immense-sized ball of raging-hot plasma, no need for metaphors). Both clubs are 100% plastic franchises, though.

They were gifted picks so this can go on and on.
On average they have 2 top 10 picks every year due too trading out stock that other clubs couldn't afford too.
At 50% strike rate your getting a Cotchin onto the list every year!

One thing is absolutely for certain. If we'd gone down the North Melbourne route of cleaning out all our older players - or as we refer to them at Tigerland, our "premiership club legends" - then Cornes would've been whining about that too.

You can almost hear these words coming out of his mouth ...."They could've had Tim Taranto at Richmond if they'd played their cards right, and maybe even Jacob Hopper too! Two relatively young hardened inside mids on their list for the next decade, to take the burden off their youngsters, who are clearly not ready. Missed opportunities that will be keeping the Richmond recruitment team awake at night. Instead, those two will be contending for a premiership at the (insert Giants/Pies/Cats) this year."

And then complain again how the culture at the club has been ruined by gutting the playing list of it's much-adored heroes all at once.

No matter what you do, he will take the contrary negative angle. It's why I just avoid all of those footy panel shows - they do absolutely nothing for me.

Getting Naismith was a no brainer. Not sure what Cornes is thinking by mentioning him, we lost Soldo and Ryan isn't up to it.

The rest of those names he mentioned I agree with. Not sure what we were thinking trading Kosi in, reckon we would get better input if we just played Archie May LOL

Yep, I'm the same I only watch the Front Bar as its lighthearted. It's not the dribbling fake expert crap the other shows throw at us.

I gave Talking Footy with Cotchin etc a go, but that was the most boring snore fest I've ever watched.

Personally I'm not expecting too much from big sexy. He hasn't played for a year and only started running a couple of months ago. Id be rapt if he makes it through the game uninjured.

it's not about delisting any veteran, it's about accountability. Prestia , Grimes and Short were woeful with there intensity,tackle application and on field leadership. I'm more than happy to send a couple of very comfortable senior footballers back to the 2's to send a message to everyone at the club.
Step up or Eff off.No one has any credits left over from the dynasty that ended 3 years ago

Anyone find it a bit strange though? They sacked Rutten because it was taking too long with the list he had. Scott comes in and after a year already he is saying 8 years LOL
