I can't tell you the why, but I can tell you my comment is fact.

I can only suggest that our offer is 1 year - given that Orazio himself said there would be something from the club.

My guess is the clubs feedback was the spot being main list or rookie would be dependant on where all of our trade wheelings and dealings leaves the main list in terms of spots and that if he was looking for more certainty the club wouldnt stop him looking elsewhere.

Yep suspect offer would be minimum contract 1yr only, have a look around see if you can do better.

Doubt anyone thought he'd get another offer.

How much would you need to move to Sydney? Maybe has a zia over there...

GWS expect their medical assessment of Orazio to be complete before the 2024 Midseason draft. It may be completed a bit earlier if they can convince the Federal Government to convert it into a Royal Commission.

I’d rather have kept him. The cupboard is bare for small forwards, and on the off chance his frail little mosquito rig could manage a game or two, he’s bloody good when he’s firing.

I don't know how this makes sense. I assume that at best we might be offering a 1 year rookie deal. GWS must be offering a 2 year deal or something, otherwise I'm not sure how it could be a 'done deal'

The implication mentioned that the wants to go elsewhere is incorrect. IF something happens its because the club has driven it, either by the offer made, or other factors.
