Don't we rate the 2021 draft?

A bit disappointed, but only a bit.

The trade and draft guys have come up trumps for a while now.

Are we just biden our time before we use this supposed cap surplus?

If we don't win a premiership in 2021 we could be trading out 6 to 8 players. The club has basically said we are close. If certain players don't deliver, we will get rid of them. That could bring 3 to 6 picks in next years draft.

But could be low 60's with lots of compo and matching bids.

73 could end up being about 50 if we don't have to use it on Jones. Maybe Dodoro has said he wont bid on Jones?

If 73 turns into 50 when we bid on Schofield that becomes 273 pts which means we get him free from pick 38.

If 73 turns into 60 when we bid on Schofield that becomes 146 pts which means we get him free from pick 45.

Maybe we have the same undertaking from all clubs re bids on Jones? If so isn't that Draft tampering.

Could we scrounge up enough points to match a first round bid for Jones?
