I would say the fixture would play a part.

Ignoring the ladder in terms of actual performances - Swans, Pies, Blues, Hawks, Dogs and Lions are the only decent teams.

Well we are 4th after the bye rounds.

If you had told me at round 2, that’s where we’d be, I would have been stoked. If you told me a few weeks ago, I’d still have been stoked. We weren’t even in the 8.

Only a game splits 5th to 13th!
It’s nice to be a bit ahead of the pack now after the bye rounds.

Now only thing can change still with the game yet to be played

Freo can move up to 5th on 34 points and he just half a game behind us.
Or Gold Coast can move up to 6th with a win. Or 5th with a percentage boosting win.

Either way, winner of the next game moves to 5th or 6th. Rest shuffle down.

Melbourne will leave the 8 and hopefully never to return!
