I had tipped GWS to win the flag this year. Guess I overestimated them.

Makes it hard to see Kingsley taking this group to a flag. This list is as good as it's going to get and they still couldn't get there even after making Top 4

Could argue with Fagan and Lions outfit. Should’ve won a flag or two. Or Dees with Their group- more than one.

Poor planning if true. You need options to counteract that. Losing after being up 44 in the third is inexcusable. If you're game plan doesn't have more than one gear you'll continually be found out in big games.

They're mostly still young. They have that in their favour. Great coach. Heaps of talent. It's probably the mental scarring from finals losses, particularly so many close ones which may affect them the most.
