Will Goldsack cloke dawes and Taz do the job?

You need at least one brilliantly evasive and ball-winning player in the forward line - DAicos, Hird, Steve Johnson. Krakour might not be quite in their class but is that sort of player. I'm not sure there is enough emphasis on having small man brilliance in the forward line, although they are swinging Dane and Daisy through there and also Wellingham. Personally I'd be tempted to play our best player in pendles pirmarily as a forward for a while, esp this week as he's not fully match fit. He's pretty tall and might make a great forward in the vein of J Hird. Thomas is pretty good up forward but possibly you lose more fro the midfield with him because of his blistering midfield runs which you can't really do much in the forward line. maybe they could rotate pendles and these other elite mids through but I think you need one of them - I think Pendles - spending most of his time up forward so he can really grow into the role. People have suggested Reid, and I think if given a chance for a few weeks he could become Hird-like - he is brilliantly evasive, a great kick and mark and has extreme pace for his size.
Worth giving Taz a chance as a KPF for a few weeks, but doubtful if he still has it as an unstoppable forward, but who knows till you try it.
