Why is on Premmision to Train List and not Re-Rookied yet?
he's a lump of a lad isnt he, 203cm at 21/22 yrs of age with a build like that, OMFG,. i can see why we're keen, MASSIVE shoulders, perfect build really.
with his track background id be surprised if he didnt finish in the top 6/7 in the 2K run.

What track background, exactly..?
Most of these players would be "amazing track athletes" at their high schools... It is another thing to step up in an elite sporting environment in a sport that requires the highest levels of fitness / running ability.
Collingwill, you seem to be one of the more bullish supporters about Macnamara, and while I don't want to anchor your feet to the ground, I would just say I wouldn't get my hopes up.
was he a 1500 or 3000 metre track athlete?

i doubt you could compare college track to high school track, i dont know what events he did or didnt compete in, but if he was considered a talented track athlete by college standards id say he"d be a more than capable runner by high school standards, wouldnt you ?
remember AFL players at minimum weigh around 80KG, thats too much for 2k running events at an elite level IMO.
Well Shae weighs almost 100kg... Which means it is FAR too much for 2k running events at an elite level, against 80kg teammates.
All I am saying is I really really doubt he would have finished in the top 6-7 in the time trial, as you suggest. That is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

And I couldn't find where it said he was a talented track athlete at College. All I could find was BRetigan saying he was a talented track athlete. No reference to either College or High School.

Your work is now here LOLOk, he has school records in the conference and his high school for high jump. - Marquette High School in Milwaukee (Actually asking my sister now). He did a year of track and field something, but didn't hold any records at Marist College, New York. Sorry about the confusion.
Got to get back to work.

I've only recently started taking a bit of an interest in watching basketball, so I'm not too sure of how the skills there would translate to AFL, but would it be a reasonable assumption that his overhead skills will be more than adequate?
Could he have potential as a KP forward?
cheers for posting that up!
running vertical = 39.5
i assume that means inches...so that's about 100cm...
the draft camp record is 102, so that's pretty promising in regards to his potential as a ruckman
just a matter of skill development, needs to do a marty clarke and live football 24/7 to get his abilities up...i mean ruckman generally don't have the best skill level, but you want him to at least be half decent! hoping he gets a rookie contract, worthwhile as the positives far outweigh the negatives!
and bretigan, thanks for your input, it is much appreciated by everyone here!
I think Jordan was 6'6.i was reading the draftcamp reports from the NBA, the basic pattern in the verticle testing was the shorter the guy, the bigger the leap, if that 39" is correct then it means he's a very good athlete even by NBA standards (in leaping anyway), i heard somewhere Jordan had a 48" running verticle (not sure how true), but he was out of the box that bloke and was around 6"4 i believe.
