Never knew standing room could be so fun..
Being it Essendons home game felt so good to stick it up em..
The hearts to hearts in the last 5 minutes was insane..
Voice is stuffed.. head is spinning..

The one we sang as they went down the race was pure bliss.

Standing room rocks, I move between bay 18, the north end and standing room, depends who I sit with. Out of them, standing room with a beer in hand is what gets the blood pumping the most. The next few years should make for some unforgettable times.

Yeah I'm with ya Tazaa. Said to my tow Northerner mates with me today, after sitting
on ground level next to the cheer squad, "This reminds me of the 90's!."
Friday nights at the G used to be exactly like that was today....even how we got headed then rolled over the top of them,.....Awesome times....Singing the Hands to hands plus song was awesome in the last Q. Great signs from some of our kids today...Atters tried his guts out all day, Levi was a maniac at man and ball, as was JZ. Goldy magnificent.
Wellsy just ridic! Boomer and Petrie awesome also.
Pedo AND Azza....brilliant!

lost me voice got told to move along in the 3rd quarter for havin a go out the sooks next to us

but ended up back with the rest of yas n belted out hearts to hearts in the last few minutes.

Got a last minute box ticket to be with a few guys from work (all Essendon). Sweet but much would have rather been out in the crowd! The neutrals were all cheering on North!

I was up in lvl 3 most of the game, but came downstairs with my son just after Pedo's goal in the last. Stood behind the Cheer Squad and loved it!!

Best of all, Spitta gave my son a signed footy at the end too.... Best day at the footy since that comeback against Collingwood in 2005

I stood there today and often do when it is an away game. I prefer to stand at the footy but these days there aren't as many options as there used to be. It was great atmosphere there today but you don't see the game as well as would if you were on level 2 or 3.

I had a good view of that effort from lvl 2, aisle 33. It was a little heated at the time, just quietly. A fair effort from that bloke to take on all and sundry.

Not usually into giving it back, but considering some of the behavior (including a coke bottle thrown from level 2) and after they filed out, rightly gave em a mouthful.

When Drewie slotted that one through late, haven't experienced that atmosphere since we beat Collingwood a few years ago on that Sat night.
