Heard that there were only 18 blokes at training again last night.

Popes was spotted in the bushes muttering obscenities about the lack of enthusiasm and commitment.

"Guns" might be a late call-up.

Maybe we should all start emailing Scott Mcmasters and demand the "Guns" inclusion. You all saw how much lobbying it took to get him a senior game...
I'm sure "Guns" would BLOW EM AWAY should he be selected

Hey guys, was speakin to a lad from work earlier today and he said that once he retires Nathan Eagleton from the bulldogs was plannin to play up at Whorouly as his had talks with commitee due to some sort of connection with one of the boys down there. can anyone shed light on this?

As a player who has just returned to whorouly, i haven't heard anything, but having any player that has played footy at the top level would be a bonus to any club

Common sense will prevail. After all, if the O&K team lose and "Guns" wasn't selected, there will be hell to pay!
Wouldn't want to be in the room when Sandy Thomas gave McMasters a spray about leaving the best ruckman in the league out of the line-up.

Benalla went alright this year with selection, Dockery, Wright, Screamer, Reaper in the seniors, 3 kids in the u17 footy and 3 in the netty.

the game is at tarra sat. 3rds start at 12 1s start at 2. should be a cracker

From memory O&K 20-6 Farrer 13-11. Most O&K players were fantastic.
Eames was fantastic, McCulloch must have kicked about 6. Had winners all over the ground.

VCFL Medal for BOG went to Eames, McCulloch ended up with 8 i think.
The O&K boys represented the League well in what was a great display of country footy. Lets hope it all happens agian next year.

Also the under 17's football got beat by a fair bit, but the junior girls won the netball. Senior netball lost by a point in extra time.

was great to see o and k seniors come out with a convincing win after chronicle had all but written them off, however i wonder if junior side would have done better if it were under 18's instead of 17's? seem to be far better players in that age group missing??? any comments???

Only a hand full of leagues have an u18 comp. Most are u17

the farrer league 3rds comp is under 17s, there are plenty of quality kids that just miss out from the Ovens & King as they are 17 but turn 18 later this year resulting in them being ineligable. Stefan Tiso misses out by 4 days, James Clarke misses out by a few months both are league medalists. The kids did a good job under the circumstances. skills were good and intensity was unquestionable but playing with other kids they didnt know by name made it difficult.

I'll stand corrected Tige but I think he gave it away last year but they dragged him out again. Also heard a couple of other clubs had words with the league about him this season as well.

If you decide to pull on the tighty whities yourself, do something about those mohair stockings..lol...
