Mate, that story has been going around for years. I think that'll be the last thing on his mind at the moment but if he does go elsewhere it'll be to another league.

Word is that he's leaving because something like 6 players are leaving for Queensland next year and won't be playing at Tarra, i also heard his brother would go wherever he went

Hey BK will there be a stewards inquiry into Sessho... 60 odd gls form the first 14 games then 40 in the next three...[ Most racehorses would be swabbed.] or was he just playing it low key.:D:D:D

Six players leaving for QLD? I can honestly tell you that I haven't heard anything about that from within the club, so they have done a good job of keeping it quiet if it is true. Any names involved? I don't think it would be a surprise if Brett left the club along with Brendan if that were to happen.

Haha, yeah he was off his performance enhancers from the start of the year but has only just started to get back on the gear :p. Nah, he was hampered with several injuries throughout the season and probably shouldn't have played as many games as he has. He has regained full fitness now and it has definitely shown in his performances in the last few weeks. But our delivery into him has also improved a great deal which also helps.

Funny about the delivery thing, the Moyhu FF on Sat was heard suggesting to his team mates that maybe their delivery was hampering his goal kicking.

Heard suggesting might have been putting it nicely Slim. I heard him giving sprays a few times which is not something you want on the field. Teammates should be encouraging, not having a go at players.
So Moorey & Balf this week Virge? I think they will be needed. Although I saw a few players limp off the ground Saturday for you as well, not in good ways! And I saw you're coach leave straight after the game, there a problem there?
On forwards Virge, what's happened to Nick Hill, he hasn't played for a long time???

Balf maybe , Moorey no , yes more than a few carring injuries. Fair to say that the coach wasnt very happy as he sholdnt be , other than the disappointment i dont think theres any problems as such . Nick has shown a bit of a lack of character on the field for sometime and has proven that hes the same off the field , once dropped to the 2s it all the sudden got a bit hard to continue travelling is the excuse, i believe.

Moorey would be handy for you, need someone to kick some goals. doesn't look like much structure up forward last couple of games! That's understandable for coach not to be happy, although he looks like he is struggling with injury - not only this week but for a little while now!
That's a very poor excuse if it is as I know people he associates with and he has been doing quite a bit of travelling for other things so why not travel for football. It shows a players true character when they get dropped. You should show your worth & then be promoted once again if good enough...obviously isn't good enough!!!

Moorey told me he's having the pin out Fri and wants to play. Did hill or Thompson play FF Sat.? As the coach leaving early, Mouse was still there having a beer when the Blacks Awards were being done and that was after 6

Thompson was full forward, Hill hasn't been seen for quite a while according to Virge! That's good then as I know when I was leaving the game Mouse was at his car & looked like he was taking off so that's good he then!

OK Guys, If you had to name one up and coming player from all the clubs, who would you choose (from memory). It could be a 3rds player coming in to seniors or a 2nds player that's come through from 3rds in the last couple years. Any suggestions?

Heres the report

THE Benalla and District Football League will be disbanded at the end of the season.
The VCFL board had revealed its decision on the league's future after a four-month review of football in the Benalla region.
Despite earlier VCFL suggestions that none of the five remaining Benalla league clubs would be viable in another competition, the board has given the green light for all clubs to pursue a future in neighbouring leagues.
The board agreed with the the review panel's recommendation that Longwood seek a transfer to the Kyabram and District league, while Goorambat and Swanpool aim for a home in the Ovens and King league.
The board has advised Bonnie Doon seek a transfer to either the Ovens and King league or division two of the Yarra Valley Mountain District competition.
The future of final club, Tatong, remains in question.
The review panel concluded a merger was Tatong's best option for survival, but the VCFL board elected to give the Magpies permission to seek a transfer to the Ovens and King league.
Tatong's future as a stand-alone club depends on the Ovens and King league's willingness to accept it.
As part of the review, the VCFL board announced no Benalla club transferring to the Kyabram or Ovens and King league would be required to field underage teams next year.
The VCFL also pledged to undertake an examination of underage football in the Benalla region, to be completed by December 31.

My understanding is that the new clubs to the O&K MUST have a senior & reserve side plus 4 netball sides. Also that the new clubs got a 2 strike policy in regards to forfeiting - once they hit 2 they are out of the league at years end (can anyone confirm/correct me here??)

Also, does anyone with BDFL knowlege of the proposed sides coming into the O&K (Tatong included) want to give an indication on how the sides might go next year?

Haven't heard that one EB. There are some clubs already in the O&K who might be in trouble if that rule were introduced.
As the the incoming clubs, they will all have to recruit very heavily to be competitve.
