Hardly worth going on about. Any one who makes outlandish statements about who the new sides will beat and where they will finish on the ladder is really kidding themselves, its all a big unkown at this stage, the bats could fall over and not make it to Rnd 1. Having said that I am predicting Blacks, Blues and Tigers to improve and push for top 4, don't count out Moyhu either.

dont think anyone will count out Moyhu Navyblue, from what i hear they have not lost anyone from last year when they narrowly bowed out to the priemers and have signed another 4 pretty handy players..i think they'll b top 3 for sure..

Just reading about Brent Ohlin in the Chronicle today. Should be a handy inclusion for Glenrowan.
Obviously wouldn't have signed on in the O&K if he knew about "Guns" Pople....
You pulling a swifty Tige???

Hmm, not sure slim. I highly doubt it though, that bloke hasn't done a pre-season in years! His whole family is Tarra so I'd say he would be disowned if that was the case. All cavemen look alike though, so maybe you were mistaken :confused:

Not sure slim. The ground looked a little wild last time I was out there a few weeks ago. Have heard that we have started to water and maintain it since though. Can't imagine the surface would be in top shape by the pre-season comp though. The ground has been very hard and uneven during pre-season training over the past few years. Will find out more after training on Monday.

From what I've seen of North Wang's ground by driving past, it looks super at the moment and appears ready to be played on.

North Wang does look good at the moment - I'm told it is because the grass is a summer grass, whereas Tarra has winter grass. I'm no horticultural expert, but why you'd put a summer grass on a football ground is beyond me...

One of my Favourite shows Slim!
Nth Wang is in good condition all year round because of the unlitited water supply they have. Not sure what sort of grass they have there but i guess having water on it all year round must have something to do with it!? Greta's ground is getting better every time i go past it, seems that the new watering system and levelling and re seeding they have done will bring their playing surface up to the standard of the better grounds in the comp.
Anyone heard any more news on recruiting lately? sI have heard that Pickering has been training with Tatong as well as Benalla? can anyone confirm this?
 
Has anyone heard what Josh Owen is upto From Maggies, heard he was still contracted to Maggies but had signed for KV for over $1000 a game, but have now heard he has signed with guess who....Milawa, anyone shed some light ???

Surely no club would be stupid enough to pay 1 player $1000 a game in the Ovens and King?? If this is true KV are going to be in even more trouble financially than they were when they were pushing for mergers a couple of years ago! Josh owen was a fringe player in the ovens and Murray last couple of years, sure he would be a good player in the O&K but gees for $1000 a week you could probably get 4 very handy players who would have more of an impact than 1 young talented (yet to prove himself) FF who is limited to 1 or 2 positions!

Both clubs were training the same nights pre xmas and Picko was training with us and has been post xmas,

ARE you all dumb enough to belive that. He would have to play in four position at once or maybe 5 for that money & get 100 kicks & 20 goal a week . maybe $1000 for the year ? HE Would have to go to milawa to get that. Not sure about our financal trouble dont think we have had a balance under 20k in the last 4 years ,
