Moyhu Football ClubTatong Football & Netball ClubWelsh, AnthonyPending25/03/10
there's a train from seymour isnt there? or maybe horse
Interesting to see a few blacks boys on the clearences to goorambat couldn't get a game slim???
Paul Arndt from Avenel will be a big boost for Swanpool....He's pretty handy from all reports..
Reading the Weekly times it looks like Tatong think they can finish mid table. Have picked up a local by the name of Andrew Harrison who apparently was on Richmond and Brisbane's list.
Think your sources are out TGN - Kerls only played in the match against Yack. He went alright in that but wasn't available for the community cup matches. Don't think he'd get the job at FB straight up, our bigger boys would be lining up for that role. Kerls is more of a flank/pocket type player and most likely wouldn't be lining up on the bigger bodies.BK, I here Craig Kerlin played well in some practice matches and may be pencilled in at FB for the first game? Any truth to that?
How do you think he'd go against the bigger bodies of Moore and Co?
Thanks for clearing that up.Think your sources are out TGN - Kerls only played in the match against Yack. He went alright in that but wasn't available for the community cup matches. Slim, might be warm on the weekend. Have you heard if the umpires have received their new caps for the upcoming season?
word on the street boys is that there are a few handy blokes around the traps for both swanpool and tatong. rumour has it that Hayden Croot has had a stella pre season and he is going to lead the maggies into the 2010 campaign. some have said he may make the O&K team of the year with the form he is carrying also Damien King and Stewart McLeod are looking great for 50 goals each maybe even 100 for Swanny. they are both fit and raring to go in there first game of the year. they could make finals... we will soon find out
gee BF thats a big call before we even see the round 1 results!!
Did Damian King play for swanny last year? if he did he didnt kick a hundred so it would be a big call to predict he, let alone 2 people from Swanpool will kick a 100 in the same season in a diff league. Would like to see someone other than the goal kicking machine from Moyhu win the league goalkicking though between him and Sesho they have won the last 6 or 7.
Just on the team of the year, surely common sense will prevail and there will no longer be a requirement to select one player from each team in the comp. I've always thought that was a joke, but with 14 teams in the comp now that only leaves a handful of additional players. The team should be the absolute best players in the league. If that means making a side out of blokes that play for three or four sides, so be it.Anyone want to have a go at predicting the O&K team of the year?
will be interesting to see who we all think will make it with all the new recruits coming into the league.

Agree with that BK, but getting the absolute best all willing to play is another story as we found out last year.
True slim. But I was more referring to the team of the year that gets selected at the end of the season.Agree with that BK, but getting the absolute best all willing to play is another story as we found out last year.
