That one and the bloody darwin festival one, that also drops down if you roll over it.....Mods, if you're out there, piss them off please
I doubt the mods would do anything slim. They are advertising and probably fund the website costs. Simple solution: install an Platinum Membership - https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/account/upgrades ;). I haven't seen any of the pop ups discussed...

Did you guys see the score from the Deni Rovers V Wunghnu game in the Picola (NW) league...

Deni 57 21 363
Wun 1 1 7

One bloke kicked 31 gls............

After seeing that I don't think we really have any issues with the new sides.... At the moment

Hey fellas,
where are king valley playing this weekend??
And how do i get there?

Next weeks games could see a bit of movement in the 8. Benalla V Bright, Whorouly v Milawa, Tarra v KV and Doon v Greta.

If Greta lose to Doon which is very possible over at Doon thay can drop down to 8th, KV have to beat Tarra to stay in touch and anything is possible with the top 4 still jostling for possies.....Will be a great round

Honestly can't see KV getting within 20 goals of Tarra, but still should be a far more interesting round than this one:rolleyes:

Can anyone from Bonnie Doon confirm or deny the rumour i heard that you will be joining the YVMDL next year?

And interesting to see how the finals games have been set up this year with obviously tarra and nth wang hosting games but also friendlies oval and benalla showgrounds. I hear that is so people can go from one game to another on the same day? Congrats to the blacks on hosting finals this year, probably the best ground this year in my opinon, not that i played on it!

Gee Datto ,I don't where to start,. Dunno about Doon but if they stay they and if they go they go, YMVDFL was always their first choice....

Certainly do agree with the day pass scenario. Thats's the only way the league could get out of an impossible situation for clubs.

The choice to use Benalla Showies and Blacks ground was a good one ( without being biased). The Benalla showgrounds playing surface is argueably better than the Wang showies and far better than ours. The only reason that Nth wang is being used is as a matter of convenience, the playing surface was as bad as any we have played on this year. It's a bog hole and stinks accordingly.

Again I believe the league put $ ahead of clubs by playing a final 8 and as such what could be big games could be subject to second rate surfaces and smaller grounds, thus reducing the spectacle.

Feel free to disagree....:D

This is the first i have heard of it Datto, I would be 99% sure this is not even on the radar. Being a senior player and a committee member as far as i know we are 100% committed to the O+K. The club has been very happy with how things are going in the O+K with strong competition, reasonable travel distances, good under 18s comp etc and i can see no reason for us to want to change leagues. Bonnie Doon have a very solid group of people running the club and don't make rash decisions so i couldn't imagine us putting in the effort we have during this season only to jump ship to another league after only one year. Won't happen.

Slim I would have to disagree on benalla saints oval being better than Wang magpies oval. Blacks oval is in awesome condition especially this time of year, no games being played on it for the last few weeks in the wet conditions has really helped keep it together and when they have been played on its been pretty dry i think the clubs playing finals would rather travel down to benalla to play because the condition nth wangs ground is in is shithouse!! also will finals be played at whorouly this year?

Tarra's ground would have to be looking good at the moment I'd imagine. It was in good shape a couple of weeks ago when they played Milawa, and they haven't played on it since then, with away games the last two weeks.
