Very disappointing to see how poorly Goorambat and Swanpool have fared during the early rounds, both have been on the end of 100 point drubbings and clearly are not up to the standard of the O&K. Hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel for these two teams and realistically folding looks inevitable within the next couple of years in my opinion. Swanpool only has 2 or 3 handy players at best (Bamford, D. King and M. King) and I dont think Goorambat have anyone that could get a game in any other sides reserves.

Incidentally, the All Blacks have started solidly, however they haven't really had a challenge yet, facing two teams that will likely be at the wrong end of the ladder. Will be interesting too see how the Blacks fare against some of the powerhouses in the league.

It seems our blokes didnt get the flogging that was predicted..
Turned a few heads I think. The boys had the chance to take the game but thats footy. Mudda King played one the best individual games I have ever witnessed. Great job by the boys playing one of the hardest sides at home on the calander so I've been told.

Hello Muddy King and Welcome to the boards, so far your input on here has been revering and we all look forward to see what you'll post next.

I think that's a little harsh, Travers Nolan would be top 6 in most sides and is a proven performer. They have a backmen named "Benno" who would get a game in any senior side.

I must admit their depth is lacking and their bottom 6 players are struggling a bit, lets hope the can turn things around.

Ben Reaburn and Trav Nolan are "senior" players and would be at most clubs unfortunatley you need 21 of them to have a side though

I think your stating the obvious there doggies, I don’t think anyone was predicting them to be very competitive but they are doing what they can to get numbers on the park and try and keep there clubs afloat, remember they are victims of circumstance they didn’t ask for this and though yes they could look at merging things may look up eventually for some of these clubs. The wheel turns always has and always will.

I think there is a bit to much time being spent knocking these clubs because they are easy targets, we were in the same boat a few years back and it is really tough to show up each week knowing you are going to get belted.

I would be more concerned about some of the "o&k" clubs, King Valley have only just scraped home against very ordinary sides the last 2 weeks and Nth Wang look far from competitive but no one seems to be saying much about that?

All Blacks are looking forward to Bright at Bright this week end should give us a bit more of a guide as to where we are at in both grades hopefully.....

Swansong, what's the go with the bloke Arandt from Avenel. Has he played yet, haven't heard or seen anything about him.

Have not seen him train or play yet slim.. I did hear he was going on holiday and would play a game when he got back to see how he liked it, Then decide whether to stick around or not. But havent heard anything at all.

Best shape I've ever seen him in and he is itching to play this weekend and play a major part in our 1st win for the season

Well he was named as your second best player in round one... Must have been a lot of one percenters huh?
