Did you go straight home after the Council Club and log into Big Footy BADS?

Slim picking saturday night???

There seems to be a pretty personal tone in that voice BADS when talking about the mighty Rovers.
Whats the tie there knackers?

Good luck to the Brown and Gold this year, they should definitly be top 3 now they've held onto Allan.

"Captain peanut" that says it all! Jamie Allan has resigned with the Rovers blokes like you should get your facts right before spreading grap thats not right.

i was just repeating what i'd heard on the grapevine bads. Same grapevine that, to use 1 example, told me wang virtually had smith and hooper over the line before the media even had a sniff. Can't get them all right. Good to see he's re-signed with rovers though, the O&M is better for having players of his ilk running around.

I have a few mates that play in the 1's and 2's there. I dont say alot on bigfooty glitter, only when i see rubbish being spoken !! :thumbsu:

Yeah he must be hard as nails, what happened last year at Cowora against lavy ! Could have ran around the bloke who was gunna tackle him but coz the tackler was half his size he tried to run straight through him, and guess what. He Broke !!

Thats not nice to make up bullshit about what actually happened gunner..
The truth of the matter is that he actually tackled one of the bigger blokes on the ground and he landed on it with his full set of weight on top of it! Everyone knows Ryan throughout the comp respects him as a hard player!!

Oh and you also forgot to mention how Ryan played the entire second half with a shoulder that kept popping in and out for the rest of the match.. Really soft effort wouldn't you think! :thumbsu:

Sounds like gunner you can't give anyone a wrap you must be a little jealous!:)

Your full of shit winmar. Firstly toss bag let me say that I respect Ryan alot as a player, and when did i say i didnt in my initial post ?? Ive got no doubt he probly would have won the morris last season, no disrespect to johnny mac. So Winmar with that said you should get back in ya box. Secondly, Unless my eyes are playing up on me, which they arent as the shoulder incident was right on the clubrooms side wing of John Foord oval, in front of the main part of the crowd, me and the other 100 people standing around me seen exactly how he did his shoulder. So before you jump on ya soapbox winny, Ryan was not being arrogant by trying to run through someone, thats just the way he plays, and that style is what makes him such a good player and probly, injuries aside, will see him eventually win a morris medal.

Obviously someone is a little concerned.. Oh he definetely hurts people i have seen a couple of so called hard men jump out of the road when he is going near it.. Hard as nails!!

Who are these blokes that were jumping outta his way? winmar you make him sound like a product from the selleys range at the local hardware, c'mon tell us how hard he is again!

I doubt anyone jumps out of anyones way in the O&M. Some very tough lads running around........

Whisper is a scout from out West giving due consideration to Ryan if his form holds up in 2008........only issue they see is size (height).

Its good to see you get so passionate about your footy behind the fence and thats probably where you been all your life! You filthy bush pig!

Secondly sounds like you def are jealous you got very defensive about your comments and quick to defend ryan previously you did say something about his not even that good and he broke.. can't have it both ways mate make up your mind! By the way how was the view behind the fence and your obviously a lavington supporter/ magoo / ferrel

well i will tell you how hard he is he single handly won the game against corowa when they already had a few injuries and lost their other star on baller raines to an ankle injury in the first half.. he physically mentally intimidated members of the wodonga bulldogs including walker who was petrified of him for the rest of the game..

all i know is that ryan should be a walk up start to the o and m rep side along with his mate raines and schmidt! (providing of course they are injury free)

Who was he playing for when he single handedly beat Corowa Winmar?

You've gotta be kidding. He's had his chance being aligned to an AFL club ( Geelong ) & his off field reputation will be enough to ensure he is not given another.

Ryan, tough ????
Things must have changed a lot in last couple of years.

Yeh i heard West Warrnanbool might be interested him, not just his size they are a bit unsure bout his leg speed at that level, Jock McFarlane ran him down last year;)

Jock???? Last time I saw him he was at the butchers.........

I just hope Corowa has improved in the big man department so the lightning mosquito fleet can hit them lace out...........

They were ok early last year Corowa but the season took its toll......:thumbsu:

From what i saw, Ryan and Co woudnt have touched it if it wasnt for their ruckman putting it down their necks. Lightning??????????

what exact tactics did he use to mentally intimidate these members of the wodonga bulldogs?

I think we should include him in the o&m squad even if he's not fit... cos he's so bloody hard! Plus he can mentally intimidate the opposition.:D

how are yarra lookin?? o they have any young kids coming up to play this year???

yarra shaping up ok. Lost mcmillan though who will be very hard to replace. Have picked up at least 2 quality onballers and a defender from a melb suburban league. They should be thereabouts, but dunno if they're going to be much improved on 2007 based on the comings and goings.

Mcmillan, Rudd, Bourke, Lonergan and Gallagher all key position players i'd say very hard to replace. One key position player they have picked up supposedly played at Mulwala and struggled from all reports.Hammond and Jackson(knee) will also be missed.

ahhh yes good to see winmar_07 has hardened up and has started posting again after the humiliation he brought upon himself last season. without him this forum has taken a more sensible turn and its just good to see that all too familiar element of unfounded and unresearched dogsh*t start to creep its way back into the forum when he posts  interesting to see him desperately pumping up jake ryan as a tough as nails and ripped footballer when most games i saw ryan play last year involved him often shirking the physical issue and being the maestro of the loose ball get. an outstanding player, but he is no kade stevens or mark doolan!

Also lost Jackson Powell, young player who has been picked up by the Nth. Bullants

word circulating last night that Carrolls time at Albury is numbered. Apprently the Brethren down there are getting a bit antsy and a only a top 3 finish will suffice. Also mentioned in this rumour is the name Corey Lambert as a possible replacement:rolleyes:
