Honestly I'd like to finish 3rd on the medal table so any chance France has to lose the better. They are in teams finals left right and centre and have many gold medal matches coming up.

Not really. Tatum is awesome.

However, he's not the shooter that a KD is, he's not better than LeBron in an all-round sense, that's the two who are taking his spot.

He's also a ball stopper. That's fine for Boston, but when you're not the best player on the team as is the case for USA you've got to move the ball and do the little things he doesn't do. It's why White is a far better option for the Olympics despite not being the player Tatum is.
