Just heard from someone that paid £1500. Had their view ruined by umbrellas and were on the wrong side of the river so saw only the back of most athletes.

Now days with everyone having a phone that doubles up with apps as a small TV, everyone in seats on the side of the Seine would be watching via them.

Well, considering that over a billion of us are watching, that means 9.99999% of the people watching would be watching the broadcast rather than in person.
