Summer McIntosh turns 18 in a couple of weeks time. In LA she could be pushing to match Phelps individual events Olympic record at a single games.

She wont win 8 like Phelps has, because Canada doesn't have the relay strength of USA, but she probably swims 5 or 6 individual events. She actually will peak physically in Brisbane, just don't know if she will get sick of the 5am starts chasing the black line by then and past her mental peak.


Phelps was 15 when he finished 5th in the 200m Butterfly in Sydney. He peaked at Beijing when he was 23 winning 5 individual events including the 200m Free.
