This case is exactly why they removed the 'head clash' defence. The Vicitim has a broken cheekbone and eye socket.

It's a shame the swans VFL side has their bye the same week as the AFL side otherwise he could have benefited from that rule change allowing the player to serve the suspension in missed games total, not in the league they are set for.
