With a team like that, you'd hope they're not having salary cap issues.Surprised no one is questioning Carlton's Salary Cap yet
What salary cap?Surprised no one is questioning Carlton's Salary Cap yet
They've got a team like that because they've spent over 2mil a season on a couple bank flankers and mitch mcgovern. With a team like that, you'd hope they're not having salary cap issues.
Because no else is stupid enough to give him 6 years.laughing at those on here who said he was gone...crippa has just provided an almighty 'up yours'!!
You get less for murder. What’s the poor bloke done to deserve this?

I can say with 100% confidence that Freo tabled 5. But whatever, go off. You lose Dunkley this year anyway and will carry an injury plagued Treloar.Because no else is stupid enough to give him 6 years.
Terrible take. Bulldogs had a huge win with the Treloar deal.I can say with 100% confidence that Freo tabled 5. But whatever, go off. You lose Dunkley this year anyway and will carry an injury plagued Treloar.
Nobody else was stupid enough to take on Treloar's contract.
Have a good day

You'd think with Merrett's playstyle his durability would be far greater than Cripps.Like Merret it’s a great signing. Lock away your best player on long term deals.
You do know 5 is less than 6 right?I can say with 100% confidence that Freo tabled 5. But whatever, go off. You lose Dunkley this year anyway and will carry an injury plagued Treloar.

Okie - I know things that you don't know about soft tissue injuries, particularly when it comes to Treloar. You wait and see. Be lucky to play 10 games a season IMO.Terrible take. Bulldogs had a huge win with the Treloar deal.
Carlton fans are talking about him going forward towards the end of his career. Have they seen him play forward? You'd think with Merrett's playstyle his durability would be far greater than Cripps.
When Merrett is 31/32 he could always focus on endurance and transition to a wingman. How is Cripps going to perform at the same age when he is incompetent literally anywhere else on the ground when he no longer has the physical presence to dominate clearances?
Remains to be seen really.
He’s currently out injured, and the Bulldogs haven’t looked like a legitimate premiership threat since the start of the year.

Ok Dr BFB tell us what you know about soft tissue injuries .... particularly Treloar’sOkie - I know things that you don't know about soft tissue injuries, particularly when it comes to Treloar. You wait and see. Be lucky to play 10 games a season IMO.
I disagree, I feel like his management team have capitalised on money and years he won't get from anywhere else. Who would offer Cripps 6 x 900k? You can count both Perth Teams out and probably every club bar NM and Gold Coast. 900k for an inside mid that cant play anywhere else...Cripps is a Gun player and worth the 6 years provided his body is right
6 years at $900k is about his range
Why would he move positions? Guys like Boak and Mundy still go alright in their 30s.You'd think with Merrett's playstyle his durability would be far greater than Cripps.

Would have left the club an absolute mess if he had have left.Absolute giggle of a pile on.
Every man and his dog could see Carlton’s biggest weakness is in the midfield. Signing our captain and former MVP is an absolute no brainer, and is the last really crucial piece with McKay, Weitering and Walsh locked in.
Good business.
