Watch the last goal of the game again. I didn't realise Dangerfield's part in it until I read it in the paper.

Yes, the game was over by this stage - but the game is still on.

As the ball comes in, Dangerfield is standing on his own in our defence (OK - zone coverage - fair enough). Stanley drops the mark, and goes to pick it up. Dangerfield is facing him, 2 metres away and starts running backwards ready to receive the handball. Martin runs between Stanley and Dangerfield to chop off the Stanley handball, Dangerfield then misses the tackle on Martin (despite having the boundary line to work with as well) - anyway, Martin kicks the goal.

All Dangerfield had to do was take one step forward and he would have executed a simple shepherd on Martin to free up Stanley.

Anyone got some gifs of him going for the flop when broad owned him in the marking contest and when dusty flung him back to Melbourne with his hip shimmy when he kicked that goal?

Driving home this morning, there was a yellow bed sheet hanging off a bridge just north of the Gold Coast. It said something to the effect of (I can’t quite remember) ‘Sucked in Dangerfield. Yellow and Black.’ It was a thing of beauty. I hope the Geelong team spot it on the way back to their resort today.
 
Three blokes at Geelong I totally detest Dangerfield, Ablett and Ugly old Vagina Face Tom Pawkins.
They’re all shit blokes who cheat , play dirty and never have a good thing to say about anyone other than themselves.

Danger did it again! Starred as the dominant player in a key final through sheer determination, skill and toughness, playing for he team and club ......... not.


His hit on Flossy was deliberate. His forearm was coming down and he raised his elbow into Floss. The easiest thing would have been to hit flossy'd shoulder with his forearm and take the impact that way. Hope he gets 3+ *2 = 6 - 8.

Didn’t notice it until I watched the replay but that shrugged tackle on Danger then drilling it from the boundary was the best FU you could hope for
 
If lynch or cotchin did what he did there would be a 20 page thread on the main board already calling for their head. Danger not a peep.

Hit the ball then pulled his arm in and stuck his elbow out best case is careless high severe impact 6 weeks with the gf bonus. anything less is a joke.

Yes I thought it was him and channel 7 commentary were making no mention of what happened and who it was.
it must be investigated as well as it was reckless.
I also couldn’t believe the number of times the Geelong players were throwing the ball rather than handballing it.

If Danger is suspended then so should the umpire for missing obvious head high contact, regardless of any debate whether it was intentional, it doesn't matter in terms of awarding a free, high is high, classic example of the inconsistency of umpiring we endured this season.

He has never deserved a flag - he left the club (AFC) at the moment it needed its leaders after the murder of our coach. **** him!
