Not to mention when Ablett was walking off....every Geelong player just clapping him off. Danger has to step out and shake his hand pat him on the back and follow him in. Just seems every little thing Danger has to insert himself into.

It will be nothing (football act/accident) or reckless, high, high (however many weeks that becomes). The double penalty for GF is no longer around.I can’t recall the Grimes one. But I am presuming it was graded low impact to get a fine. This one is severe impact without a shadow of a doubt. And from where I sit would be lucky not to be graded intentional. That is so dangerous what he has done it is not careless, it is at the very least reckless.

It is more or less the same action as that. That went straight to the Tribunal and got 5 weeks. So this has to be the benchmark here.
So this one is 5 doubled to 10 or if somehow graded slightly less severe, then 4 doubled to 8.
With the Grimes one I’m pretty sure he was reported on the night for it, it was very similar, ran into and contest, put his arm up to protect himself and clipped someone. On replay I thought nothing in it, it’ll be thrown out, but he still got a fine.

Agree with you SN Looking at the replay this morning (looked worse on the big screen at the ground), Danger will be OK, he was punching the ball first, did bring elbow out a touch more but I think it was to protect himself for the collision. He'll be fined heavily, careless and high, not intentional. Hurts me to say that as I came away from the game really upset for Vlossy.

I'm a bit surprised by one thing - he was trying to tap the ball to his teammates - why do that with a clenched fist and a fully braced arm? He had no control over the tap/punch - it was far too fast for his teammates to handle. He wasn't trying to gain ground - he was punching it away from goal.
I think he tried to do both - hit the ball and hit Vlastuin. Now, split second decision - but I don't think it was two separate actions - ie - hit ball, then brace for impact. I think he saw Vlastuin coming and knew that his action in punching the ball was going to hit Vlastuin.

Diverflopsniper the poser, was well in front, he had the chance to take the ball in his hands, but chose not to.
It was his decision to punch the ball but still chose to raise his forearm and hit Vlastuin flush. He could see him coming, he had could have turned to brace but chose not to. He’s responsible for the injury and must wear it. He knew what he was doing.
However Dickbrain Christian will be pouring over the footage to find some Tigers to fine. He’ll blink at the right moment.

Yep he led elbow out after he punched the ball, the campaigner knew he would get away with it cause the media suck his balls dry, he won’t cop shit the sniping flog. Hope vlas is okay that looked horrible.
I've got no issues with players protecting themselves but there is a difference between protecting yourself and forcefully extending your forearm/elbow into the chin of your opponent to protect yourself. I don't see how he gets off based on everything we have seen this season.

Obviously he rubs people up the wrong way with his media stuff but that’s his personality. Just like how Dusty has his own , everyone is different and the game is better for it having characters and not robots.
Danger is a gun and we would have him in a heartbeat. He isn’t on Dusty’s level but then again no one is. Buddy Franklin isn’t even on that level and he’s been lauded as the best post 2010.
