would like him at the tigers. straight swap for rance ?
He played one game this year, and well he went ok. But he was dropped straight afterwards which was seen as a bit of a harsh call, but the coaches or at least Roos seemed to have a problem with him or his attitude.Seemed okay when played this year although hardly managed a game, must have a shithouse attitude. If the Swans/Roos can't get the best out of him we wouldn't have much hope.

There are well known problems with his attitude and his fitness or lack there of. But he lots of talent and I'd rather see him stay but if the right offer comes along I can see the Swans parting ways with him.
He is originally from SA I think so a move home may be in the order although Richmond have shown the most interest according to most people.

Why does every Richmond supporter keep offering up Rance?
I wouldn't be against this trade we could use further Key position backmen depth especially with Bolton getting on with age and spending the last year out injured, And I rate Rance I think he will be a great player.;
I wouldn't call Rance a key defender by any means. He's basically Ted Richards - very gutsy 3rd tall defender who can't cope with the premier forwards.I wouldn't say no to Rance either, he could be used as a tall-forward or tall-defender like you said. Could be a handy player, prefer Rance to Tambling to be honest. Key position players are hard to find, especially good ones, I think Rance/Veszpremi swap could work.
how about tambling for vez and a pick?
Could be a swap for Gamble or Djerkurra.
Why would we throw in a pick? Two high draft picks who have shown little at senior level to date
Lets be a bit less biased here.
Tambling has a far greater trade value than veszpremi. He is 23, played over 100 games and had a fantastic season in 09 averaging 22 possessions, while this season was poor it was totally derailed by injury.
While vez has played 11 games in 3 seasons, he is highly talented but has reported attitude and fittness issues.
So lets get real about this a straight swap is in no way fair
I also think that tambling is exactly the kind of player that the swans can turn around. Get him out of melbourne and away from all the pressure of being a high draft pick that hasnt yet succeeded. Give him a role in the team and some confidence by the coaches and he could be another trade success story in my opinion.

In terms of draft picks, what exactly do you think Tambling's trade value is?
I doubt you'd get a pick under 30 for him
Honestly I think if we traded him at the end of last year he would have been worth approx pick 10. This year a pick in the high teens to the right club. Put him in the Saints, or Cats line up after a full preseason and he will excel. Massive upgrade on Eddy at half back. He runs and carries brilliantly (when fit) and can deliver.
